Knowledge and Education: The Supreme Strength.

Ancient wisdom describes the power of knowledge in timeless words:

Knowledge protects like a mother, supports like a father, relieves weariness like a wife, and brings joy like a companion. It spreads fame across the world and, like a wish-fulfilling vine, makes even the impossible possible. It fundamentally facilitates an individual’s realization of the ultimate truth underlying the world, the cosmos, the divine, and the supreme soul, who embodies the totality of existence. Therefore it is said: jnanam paramam Balam, knowledge is the supreme strength, possessing the power to know the Supreme Soul and attain spiritual realization.

Self-realization and spiritual realization

Self-realization reveals who we truly are; spiritual realization reveals our oneness with the Supreme.

Example to understand spiritual realization:

Imagine the vast ocean as Paramatma-limitless, profound, and indivisible. The countless water droplets rising from it are the Jivatmas. Each droplet is nothing but ocean water in essence- salty, pure, and of the same nature as the sea itself. Yet, when these droplets are lifted into the air as mist or clouds and carried far away by winds (symbolizing maya, and worldly identification), they begin to think of themselves as separate, small, and independent (due to ego and ignorance). Due to heat, distance, and changing forms, the droplet forgets its oceanic origin and believes itself to be limited and distinct. Spiritual realization is the process of dissolving these false distinctions—when the droplet recognizes that it was never truly separate. Upon returning and merging back into the ocean, it realizes that its true nature has always been the Ocean itself-vast, eternal, and one. There was never real separation-only a temporary appearance.

अन्धविश्वासो महादोषः, अतिशयेन प्राणनाशः।

कुप्रथा महादोषः, अतिशयेन महाक्लेशाः॥

Education, Knowledge, and Intellect:

Education is the process of learning, gaining knowledge and skills through study, practice, and experience.

Knowledge (Vidya) is the wisdom or understanding one acquires through education.

Intellect (Buddhi) is the power to apply that knowledge rightly, with judgment and purpose.

Thus, while education gives us knowledge, it is intellect that makes that knowledge meaningful.

How Do We Learn?

Human beings learn in many ways, through study, observation, and repeated practice. Yet, mistakes often become the greatest teachers, provided we reflect on their causes. If we ignore our mistakes, the opportunity for growth is lost.

Education and Intellect: A Dynamic Relationship :

Education provides us with new experiences and helps us adapt to a changing world. Intellect ensures that this knowledge is put to purposeful use, guiding us toward rational thought and effective action. True education, therefore, requires the partnership of both learning and wisdom.

Two Kinds of Education Today:

In modern society, education is often measured by degrees, diplomas, and institutional recognition. While such qualifications hold value, they sometimes overshadow the essence of true education.

Degree-based Education certifies skills and builds professional credibility.

True Education, however, refines character. It teaches humanity, helps one overcome lust, anger, greed, delusion, pride, and envy, and develops creativity and skill. Above all, it reveals the higher purpose of human life and guides us toward fulfilling it. True education teaches, self-less or desireless action.

An Example: The Surgeon:

Consider a surgeon. Degrees and diplomas prove his professional competence and earn him the trust of patients. But it is true education that instills in him compassion, empathy, and a sense of moral responsibility and self-less or desireless action. Without these qualities, his technical knowledge alone cannot make him a healer in the truest sense.

Traits of a Truly Educated Person.

A genuinely educated person can be recognized by certain qualities:

Respect for elders and affection for the young.

Restraint : Mastery over lust, anger, greed, delusion, pride, and envy.

A desire for happiness that never harms others.

A humane, tolerant, and compassionate nature.

Humility and freedom from arrogance.

Foresight to anticipate and prepare for future challenges.

Distance from injustice and wrongdoing.

A thirst for knowledge and courage to admit mistakes.

Speaking with reason and facts, avoiding fruitless arguments.

Awareness of the true purpose of life and the path to realize it.

Knowledge Through Poetry (Especially in Sanskrit)

Poetry makes knowledge last. Verse is easy to remember and simple to transmit, even without writing. In the Sanskrit tradition, wisdom was preserved orally for centuries, carried faithfully through sound and memory. In Sanskrit especially, the power of sandhi allows sounds and meanings to unite within a single, flowing expression. Words do not stand isolated; they merge, resonate, and create a living current of meaning. Poetry enters the heart through rhythm and resonance. No script is required-the Sanskrit word itself, woven through sandhi, shines complete and self-contained. It can travel intact from one heart to another. Even in times of destruction, when manuscripts are lost and structures fall, poetry safeguards knowledge. Memory becomes the temple, sound becomes the scripture, and the living voice becomes the preserver of truth.

Thus, poetry is not merely ornamentation-it is a powerful vessel for holding, protecting, and disseminating knowledge across generations.

मानवो धर्मं कर्म च न जानन्नपि गृहे स्थापयति बालगोपालम्।

धर्मं वदति वारं वारं,ईश्वरप्राप्तौ प्रथमं शुद्धं मनोऽवश्यकम्।

अरूपं शान्तमदृश्यं, मनसोऽपि परं तत्त्वम्।

न रूपं न च नामास्ति, केवलं ब्रह्म नित्यम्॥ 

न दृश्येन्द्रियगोचरे, न तिष्ठति तत्र चित्तं।

चलति विषयमार्गेषु, छायास्वेव वारं वारं॥

कथं गृह्णात्यनन्तं, यः जानाति स्पर्शदृशा।

देहबद्धो हि जीवः, समीपं वाञ्छति सदा॥

तस्मात् सन्तो वदन्ति, सौम्यया वाचा पुनः।

रूपः सेतुर्भवेद् हृदि, भक्तेर्मार्गप्रदर्शकः॥

नामरूपे समारभ्य, चित्तं शान्तिं निगच्छति।

सेवया प्रेमयुक्त्या, तदेकत्वं प्रपद्यते॥ 

न केवलं शिलामात्रं, प्रतिमा भावसूचिका।

अरूपस्य प्रवेशाय, सा भवेदेव साधिका॥ 

रूपादारभ्य मार्गः, अरूपे परिणीयते।

भयसंशयविहीनः, आत्मा तत्रैव लीयते॥

तस्मात् रूपं समाश्रित्य, भावभक्तिं विवर्धय।

ततः शान्ते मनसि, ब्रह्मस्पर्शोऽनुभूयते॥

प्रथमं सत्पुरुषो भव, ततः सर्वकर्माण्याचर।

कामक्रोधलोभवर्जितः, दयामार्गे सदा स्थितः॥

हत्याहिंसाविनिर्मुक्तः, धर्ममार्गे दृढस्थितः।

लोकहिते सदा युक्तः, सत्ये नित्यं प्रतिष्ठितः॥

दयाशीलसमायुक्तः, न्यायमार्गे व्यवस्थितः।

एषः सनातनधर्मस्य, प्रथमः सोपानः स्मृतः॥

सनातनधर्मस्य द्वितीयः सोपानः

(The Second Step of Sanatana Dharma)

प्रथमं निष्कामकर्म स्यात्, द्वितीयं तत्त्वज्ञानार्जनम्।

तृतीयो भक्तियोगश्च, चतुर्थं आत्मप्रकाशकम्॥

कर्मयोगेन चित्तशुद्धिः, ज्ञानयोगेन ज्ञानार्जनम्।

भक्तियोगेन भक्तिप्राप्तिः, जीवहिते श्रेष्ठा गतिः॥

सर्वे मार्गाः लक्ष्यन्ते, लभ्यते मोक्षः स्यात्।

एषः सनातनधर्मस्य, द्वितीयः सोपानः स्मृतः॥

कर्मधर्मद्विपक्षेण जीवस्य गतिः

यथा पक्षी द्वाभ्यां पक्षाभ्यां गच्छत्यन्यं स्थलम्।

तद्वज्जीवः कर्मधर्माभ्यां गच्छत्यन्यं जीवनपथम्॥

यथा ज्ञानबलात् पक्षी दृढविश्वाससंयुतः।

प्राप्नोति स्वप्रियं स्थानं निश्चलधिया युतः॥

तथा जीवः निष्कामकर्मधर्मपरायणः।

ज्ञानयोगेन संयुक्तः श्रद्धाभक्तिसमन्वितः॥

प्रेमभक्त्यानुसेवया प्राप्नोति परमं पदम्।

परमानन्दमाप्नोति ईश्वरस्य दिव्यं धाम॥

हरेर्मायानिवारणस्य साधनम्।

मनुष्यलोके हरेर्माया व्याप्ता सर्वत्र संस्थिता।

केवलं हरेः कृपादृष्ट्या परिहारः सम्भवः तस्याः॥

मोहिनी सा नयति एनं दुःखसंसारसागरम्।

हरेः स्मरणमात्रेण नश्यति सा स्वप्नसन्निभा॥

जन्ममृत्युः (सत्यम्–मिथ्या)

जीवस्य लोकेऽस्मिन् जीवनं पूर्णतया मिथ्या।

मरणानन्तरं सः जानाति लोकेऽस्मिन् सत्यम्॥

जीवस्य लोकेऽस्मिन् जीवनं केवलं स्वप्नम्।

मरणानन्तरं तत् भवति जाग्रतावस्थायां स्थितम्॥

तस्मात् जीवने सदा कर्तव्यं सदाचारं च सत्कर्म॥

अन्यथा मरणानन्तरं प्राप्नोति महद्दुःखकष्टम्॥

धर्मः

ईश्वरस्य उचितादेशपालनम्,

तस्य नीतिनियमानां अनुसरणम्।

जागतिकानां सुनियमधारणमेव धर्मः॥

कदाचित् सः भक्तपरीक्षारूपेण प्रतीयते।

एवं धर्मः जगतः स्थिरतां दधाति॥

धर्मलक्षणम्।  

यः स्वयंसत्यः स्वयंसम्पूर्णः स्वयंसिद्धो निरामयः।  

स्वातन्त्र्येण स्थितः नित्यात्मा धारयितुं स योग्यः॥

यः सत्यं धृतिं दमं क्षमां संयममेव च।

शास्त्रज्ञानुसारं तत् प्रोक्तं धर्मलक्षणम्॥

 ब्रह्मतत्त्वं

ब्रह्मतत्त्वविहीनग्रन्थजीवगुरुवर्णनम्

(ब्रह्मतत्त्वमहिमा)

यस्य ग्रन्थे न विद्यते ब्रह्मतत्त्वं,

तत् शास्त्रं न भवति पूर्णसत्यम्॥

यो जीवः न जानाति ब्रह्मतत्त्वं,

स जीवः न जानाति पूर्णतत्त्वम्॥

यो जीवः न जानाति ब्रह्मतत्त्वम्,

स न गुरुः न पण्डितः शास्त्रमतम्॥

यो जीवः न जानाति ब्रह्मतत्त्वम्,

रुद्धमेव भवति तस्य मोक्षद्वारम्॥

अन्नब्रह्मतत्त्वश्लोकः

अन्नं ब्रह्मेति श्रुतिषु सनातनम्,

भोजनं यज्ञरूपमुदाहृतम्॥

शुद्धे मनसि यत्र हि शुद्धमन्नम्,

धर्मः सत्यं सनातनं, विश्वव्यापी निरामयः ।

विशालः शाश्वतः सत्यः, नित्यं धर्मः प्रतिष्ठितः ॥

अनन्तो व्यापकः शान्तः, सर्वलोकैकबान्धवः ।

न जातिभेदेन सीमितः, सर्वजीवैकबान्धवः ॥

यो धर्मं रक्षति नित्यं, आचरन् अविचलितः ।

धर्मो रक्षति तं नित्यं, सत्यधर्मेण पालितः ॥

भक्तः महाभावग्राही, भगवान् च तथैव सदा।

प्रेमसम्बन्धो महाभावः, स एव तयोः सदा॥

पूजायां नास्ति कालोऽत्र, न घंटानिनदः आवश्यकः।

न मन्त्रजपो न बाह्यकृत्यं, भाव एव ह्यावश्यकः॥

न पश्यति भगवान् द्रव्यं, न हेमावरणभूषणम्।

हृद्गूढभक्तिमेव पश्यति, शुद्धमानसपूजनम्॥

भक्तरक्षणं धर्मोपदेशः

शृणुत भक्तजनाः, एतत् सनातनं वचनम्।

भक्तात्मनः विपदि तस्य सह कुरु अवस्थानम्।

सान्त्वनां प्रदेहि सदा, न त्यज एनं एकाकिनम्।

निन्दकदुष्टानां कुरु उचितं प्रत्युत्तरम्।

भक्तात्मनः विपदि तं मा त्यज कदाचन।

ब्रह्मादेशं मन्यस्व, तस्य सदा कुरु पालनम्॥

भक्तः सदा सहनशीलः सदा सामाजिकः।

भक्तरक्षकः भगवान् न भवति अशास्त्रिकः।

भक्तधर्मरक्षणार्थं करोति असुरसंहारम्।

चतुर्वेदानां विषयवस्तुः।

सृष्टे रहस्यं विमलं च तत्त्वं,ऋग्वेदवाणी प्रथमे प्रबोधा।

यज्ञक्रमाणां विधानदाता,यजुर्वेद एष मधुरः स्वरात्मा॥

स्तोत्रात्मकः देवस्य गीतैः प्रहवः मनोज्ञः, सामगतो गुणाढ्यः ।

शान्तिप्रदः सौम्यविधिप्रकाशी,वेदश्चतुर्थोऽथर्वणो निरामयः॥

अज्ञानिनां मिथ्याप्रचारः

(ब्रह्मतत्त्वे अज्ञानम्)

अज्ञानी मूर्खा न जानन्ति श्रीबलभद्रम्।

श्रीशेषनागं बलभद्रनाम्ना कुर्वन्ति वर्णनम्॥

ते श्रीप्रद्युम्नं च श्रीअनिरुद्धं च न जानन्ति।

महाज्ञानी इति स्वयम् लोके प्रचारयन्ति॥

अज्ञानं ब्रह्मतत्त्वे, अज्ञानं सिद्धियोगशास्त्रे।

मिथ्याज्ञानं ते लोकेऽस्मिन् प्रचारयन्ति गुरुरूपे॥

श्रीजगन्नाथ-बलभद्र-शेषनागतत्त्ववर्णनम्

जगन्नाथः परमब्रह्म आदिदेवः सनातनः।

बलभद्रः तस्य अंशः, जगन्नाथप्राणरूपः॥

शेषनागः अनन्तदेवः बलभद्रांशस्वरूपः।

विश्वभारधरणहारः आदिदेवः सनातनः॥

श्रीजगन्नाथतत्त्वप्रकाशः

एकः ब्रह्म महाप्रभुः श्रीजगन्नाथः जगदीश्वरः॥

सर्वाधिकारः तस्यैव, नान्यः कश्चित् ईश्वरः॥

मा कुरुत अन्यायं, मा कुरुत अनधिकारकर्म।

अनधिकारिणः सर्वे लभन्ते धर्मतः दण्डम्॥

अहङ्कारो न रोचते, न रोचते बलदर्पणम्।

विनयः प्रीतिकर्ता स्यात्, तदेव ईश्वराभिलषितम्॥

सर्वेश्वरं महाप्रभुं श्रीजगन्नाथं भक्तवत्सलम्॥

स्वांशैः सह महाप्रभुः करोति जगतः सञ्चालनम्॥

भक्तानुग्रहकर्ता सः लीलया धृतवान् मनुष्यताम्।

लोकहितार्थम् उद्दिश्य दर्शयति अद्भुतं चरितम्॥

भक्तवत्सलत्वम्

नाहं स्वतन्त्रः अत्र, भक्ताधीनः सदा ह्यहम्।

भक्तेषु मे स्थिता प्रीतिः, ते मे सदा प्राणसमाः ॥

अहम् अस्वतन्त्रः नित्यं, भक्तपराधीन एव च।

स्नेहबन्धेन बद्धोऽस्मि, प्रेम्णा परिकर्षितः॥

न मे स्वार्थः कदाचित् स्यात्, भक्तानां तु सुखं मम।

तेषां विनाशे दुःखं मे, तेषां हर्षे सुखं मम॥

यथा जननी पुत्रे स्वप्राणान् अपि अर्पयेत्।

तथाहं स्वात्मानं भक्तजनाय ददाम्यहम्॥

शिशुवेदः।

ऋग्यजुःसामथर्ववेदाः एते सर्वे कर्मज्ञानप्रधानाः।  

चतुर्वेदेभ्यश्च एष शिशुवेदः स्वयं केवलं भावप्रधानः॥

अस्य प्रवक्ता परब्रह्म श्रीजगन्नाथः, श्रोता श्रीबलभद्रः।  

अत्र नास्ति भेदविचारः, भक्तः भगवान् च समानौ॥

असत्यतन्तुभिर्वस्त्रं क्षणमात्रं विराजते ।

छायामूलसमुत्पन्नं स्वयमेव विनश्यति ॥

मिथ्याज्ञानविनिर्मितं शिक्षणं शोभनं भवेत् ।

हृदयशून्यमन्तस्तु तत्त्वतः न प्रकाशते ॥

यः नृपः स्वासनं कृत्वा मिथ्यावाक्यनिबन्धनम् ।

कालाग्निना स दह्येत सह राज्येन मण्डनम् ॥

मिथ्याप्रतिष्ठितं राज्यं घोषध्वनिभिरुज्ज्वलम् ।

अन्तर्भिन्नाधारत्वात् पतत्येव न संशयः ॥

सत्यतन्तुभिराच्छन्नं वस्त्रं नित्यं विराजते ।

न वह्निना न वातेन कदाचन विनश्यते ॥

शनैः शनैः चरन् सत्यं शान्तिदं लोकजीवने ।

तमोभेदकरं नित्यं  रविरिव प्रभाते ॥

तस्मात् सत्येन जीवनं कर्तव्यं शुद्धचेतसा ।

सत्यनिर्मितजीवनं तिष्ठति शान्तिसम्पदा ॥

धर्मसंस्थापनाय श्री जगन्नाथः

यदा मिथ्याचारिणो धूर्ता दुष्टचारित्रधारिणः ।

सन्तवेषधराः लोके कुर्वन्त्यधर्मसञ्चयम् ॥

राजानः साधवश्चापि मौनं धारयन्ति चेत् ।

तदा वर्धतेऽधर्मो हि सत्यधर्मविघातकः ॥

तदा स्वयं जगन्नाथः कालरूपेण तिष्ठति ।

दुष्टानां निग्रहं कृत्वा धर्मसंस्थापनं करोति ॥

एष धर्मस्य नित्यः नियमः सर्वयुगेषु हि ।

सत्यमेव जयत्यन्ते दैवनीतिः प्रसीदति ॥

अप्रामाणिके भवति द्वयं महाविध्वंसकम्॥

प्रामाणिके भवति द्वयं परमसुखप्रदम्॥

जीवस्वभावलक्षणम्

यत्र देशे गच्छति जीवः तत्र फलम् अश्नाति।

यत्र देशे वसति स जीवः तद्-देशीयः भवति॥ 

यत्र धर्मे जायते जीवः तमेव धर्मम् आचरति।

एष एव स्वभावोऽस्य जीवस्य नित्यः प्रकीर्तितः॥ 

देशधर्मानुसारं हि चित्तं तस्य प्रवर्तते।

संस्कारैः नियतः जीवः स्वभावेनैव वर्तते॥

स्वभावदोषविचिन्तनम्।

मनसा निश्चितं तादृशानि कर्माणि न करिष्यामि पुनः सदा।

स्वभावात् क्रियते कर्म, मम दोषोऽस्ति कुत्र सदा?

जीवस्वभावदोषः

जीवः सहजं न इच्छति श्रोतुं सत्यधर्मम्।

जीवने सुखस्याशया करोति धर्मकर्मम्॥

यत्र जातो जीवोऽयं तदेव जगदिच्छति।

तत्रैव मोहान्नित्यं स्वजीवनमवस्थापयति॥

सर्वैरेव पीडितोऽस्मीति मन्यतेऽज्ञानविह्वलः।

परान् सर्वान् विरोधिनः पश्यत्यन्धोऽविवेकबलात्॥

न जानाति पूर्वकर्म स्वजीवनविनिर्मितम्।

न वेत्ति दैवनीतिं तु सर्वलोकनियामिनीम्॥

बान्धवान् स्वजनांश्चैव सर्वस्वमिति मन्यते।

मायाजालेन बद्धः सन् तत्रैव हि निमज्जति॥

विस्मृत्य दिव्यसंदेशं योजनाः कुरुतेऽनिशम्।

संसारार्थे निमग्नोऽयं न पश्यति परं पदम्॥

एष दोषो महान् जीवस्य भ्रमकारकः।

विस्मरत्यात्मनः कर्म सर्वबन्धविनाशकम्॥

न तुलनम् कदाचन

(मुक्तछन्दः)

न हि द्वौ जीवौ समरूपौ कदाचन,

न हि द्वे जीवने समरूपे कदाचन॥

न हि मार्गौ द्वौ समानौ कदाचन,

स्वमार्गे गच्छति जनः प्रतिदिनम्॥

भिन्नाः कथाः सुखदुःखसमन्विताः,

न कदापि ताः भवन्ति समरूपाः॥

केचित् शनैः यान्ति, केचित् च शीघ्रम्,

भिन्नजीवाः दर्शयन्ति स्ववैभवम्॥

स्वकाले प्रस्फुरति जीवः स्वरूपम्,

शान्तचित्तः स्वगीतं गायति स्वयम्॥

मा तुलय, मा विषीद कदाचन,

स्वजीवनं वहति दैवात् सुस्थितम्॥

जीव-स्वभावः धर्मः।

शृणुत भक्तजनाः, एतत् सत्यं सनातनं वचनम्।

स्वभावदोषो जीवस्य महाऽहितकरश्च महाऽमङ्गलम्।

तस्य प्रतिकाराय जीवस्य स्वभावपरिवर्तनं प्रयोजनम्।

तस्मात् सत्सङ्गः सद्गुरुसङ्गश्च परमं प्रयोजनम्।

स्वभावपरिवर्तनं विना सर्वे कर्मधर्माः निष्फलाः।

एवं देवतासङ्गः सत्सङ्गश्च स्वभावदोषेण विफलाः।

परमसत्योपदेशः

यः हरेः परमं रूपं तत्त्वतः विजानाति सः।

ये शरणं प्रपद्यन्ते ते पापेन न लिप्यन्ते ते॥

धर्मपुण्यादिभिर्मुक्ताः नित्ययुक्ता भवन्ति ते।

एतदेव वेदैः समाख्यातं परमं सत्यमुच्यते॥

ईश्वरप्राप्तेः सुलभोपायः

(सुतस्नेहे हरिभजनम्)

जीवः स्वसुतसन्ताने स्नेहं कुर्वन् स्वभावतः।

ईश्वरांशं सुतं मत्वा सेवमानः स तं भजेत्॥

तत्र स्नेहं हरौ युक्त्वा सहजं परमं व्रजेत्।

षड्रिपून् निगृह्य सम्यक् कर्म सिद्ध्यति निश्चितम्॥

प्रेमशक्ति – अनन्तशक्ति

(प्रेमक्रमेण परमगतिः)

मनुष्यः यः प्रेम करोति स्वपुत्रं च पुत्रिकाम्।

माता-पितरौ बान्धवांश्च  भ्रातरं च तथा सतीं॥

प्रेमभावं स शिक्षेत तेन स्यात् सत्गतिः।

प्रेमभक्तिं करोति यः स लभेत सुमतिम्॥

सुमत्यां जाग्रतायां तु ईश्वरे प्रेम अप्रतिमम्।

ईश्वरे यः प्रेम करोति स लभेत परां गतिम्॥

प्रेमक्रमेण परमगतिः

मनुष्यः यः प्रेम करोति स्वपुत्रं च पुत्रीं,

माता-पितरौ बान्धवं भ्रातरं च सतीम्।

प्रेमभावं स शिक्षेत, तेन स्यात् सत्गतिः।

प्रेमभक्तिं करोति यः स लभेत सुमतिम्।

सुमत्यां जाग्रतायां ईश्वरे प्रेमाप्रतिमम्।

ईश्वरे यः प्रेम करोति स लभेत सद्गतिम्॥

कर्मयोगस्य मूलसिद्धान्तः

सर्वकर्मसु स्वभावतः शुभाशुभे इति द्विविधौ फलौ विद्यमानौ।

शुभाशुभकर्मभ्यां जीवः बध्यते, निष्कामकर्मणा बन्धनात् विमुच्यते।

कर्मयोगिन्, एतत् स्मर-

यस्य कर्मणः अन्ते शुभफलं, तत् कर्म शुभं स्मृतम्।

यस्य कर्मणः अन्ते अशुभफलं, तत् कर्म अशुभं स्मृतम्।

जीवनपाठक्रमः

ये नैव जानन्ति गतिगतिमिमां पूर्वजन्मोत्तरं गतिम्।

मायामोहवशादिह लोके जनाः कुर्वन्ति नित्यं भ्रमम्॥ 

जीवन्नेव यथालसं विचरन्ति मोहबद्धाः नराः।

लोकस्य केवलपाठेन न लभन्ते परां गतिम्॥

 

ये जन्मप्रलयक्रमं न विदिताः पूर्वापरं चान्वयान्।

मायामोहवशादिह प्रविशन्ति नूनं जनो लौकिकः॥ 

ये तत्त्वं पुनरागमनमार्गं मरणमार्गं चाधीतवन्तः।

ते वर्तमानजीवने विवृण्वन्ति मार्गं परं शान्तिम्॥ 

ये तत्त्वं विदितं पुनर्जनिमरणं ज्ञात्वा भवन्ति प्राज्ञाः।

तेऽध्यायन्ति सदात्मविवेकविधयं निःश्रेयसस्यैव॥ 

धर्मः स एव गुणान् प्रभवयति नृणां जीवनपाठक्रमः।

येनैव विविक्तया परगतिर्लभ्यते सान्तरम्॥

ईश्वरेण प्रदत्तोऽयं कालमन्त्रः शरीरिणाम्।

अदृश्यो दिव्यवरदः सर्वजीवहिताय सः॥ 

हृदयेषु निहितोऽयं गुह्यदीप इव स्थितः।

स्वयमेव प्रज्वलितव्यः जीवनार्थप्रकाशकः॥ 

केचनैनं प्रयुञ्जते करुणादीपवर्धने।

केचन मोहलोभाभ्यां संसारपथं धावन्ति॥

केचन सन्ति ये लोके तारका इव शोभनाः।

परोपकारनिरताः कुर्वन्ति जीवनं शुभम्॥ 

स्वातन्त्र्यं चयनं चैव एष मन्त्रः प्रदर्शयेत्।

उत्थानाय पतनाय जीवने मार्गदर्शकः॥ 

सर्वेभ्यः प्रददौ देवः कर्ममार्गप्रदर्शकम्।

स्वकर्मणा हि जीवोऽयं स्वगतिं सम्प्रपद्यते॥

यदा तु समाप्तिमेति कालमन्त्रः शरीरिणाम्।

न धनं न च वै मित्रं तदा त्रातुं समर्थकम्॥

मृन्मयं देहमेतत्तु पुनरेव धरां गतम्।

कालः शनैः समाप्नोति जीवनस्य कथामिमाम्॥ 

कर्मसत्यानि बीजानि यानि लोके प्ररोपितम्।

तान्येव शेषतां यान्ति वातवेगेऽपि संस्थितम्॥ 

नाटकमिव जीवनं भूमौ देवेन निर्मितम्।

मन्त्रक्षये समाप्तं स्यात् जीवितस्य नाटकम्॥

षड्रिपुणां प्रभावः

(पतनोत्थानद्वयम्)

कामात् क्रोधो भवेद् मोहः, मोहाद् लोभोऽभिजायते।

लोभाद् मदो मत्सरश्च, पतनस्य क्रमः प्रवर्तते॥

दमात् शान्तिर्भवेद् बुद्धिः, बुद्धेर्धर्मोऽभिजायते।

धर्माद् विनयः प्रीतिश्च, उत्थानस्य क्रमः वर्तते॥

षड्विकार-संयम-गीतासारः

कामः क्रोधश्च लोभश्च मोहः मदो मत्सरस्तथा।

एते विकाराः बन्धाय जीवस्य जायन्ते हि॥

एषां संयम एवात्र आत्मसंयम उच्यते।

चित्तशुद्धिः विजयात्मता सारं, गीता-उपनिषदोः॥

षड्रिपुसंयमः

कामः क्रोधो लोभो मोहः मदो मत्सर एव च ।

एषां संयम एव ह्यात्मसंयम उच्यते ॥

एष आत्मसंयमः प्रोक्तो गीता–उपनिषदोः शुभः ।

चित्तशुद्धिश्च नामास्य आत्मविजय इति स्मृतः ॥

षड्दोषनाशकनीतिसूक्तयः

१. दारिद्र्यदोषः

(दारिद्र्यदोषः कामनां सृजति अन्यत्र।)

दारिद्र्येण कुलं विनश्यति, दारिद्र्यात् लज्जा विनश्यति।

लज्जानष्टे धर्मो नश्यति, धर्मे नष्टे सर्वं नश्यति॥

२. क्रोधदोषः

क्रोधात् बुद्धिर्विनश्यति, क्रोधात् धैर्यं विनश्यति।

बुद्धिनाशे कार्यनाशः, धैर्ये नष्टे फलं नश्यति॥

३. मोहदोषः

मोहो मूलं सर्वदुःखानां, मोहात् बुद्धिर्विनश्यति।

बुद्धिनाशे विवेको नश्यति, विवेकाभावे पतत्यधः॥

ज्ञानात् तु मोक्षः सिध्यति, तस्मात् ज्ञानं समाश्रयेत्॥

४. अहंकारदोषः

अहंकारे विनयो नश्यति, विनये नष्टे गुणा यान्ति।

गुणहीनः लोके निन्द्यः, त्यक्तो दुःखं सदा लभते॥

५. लोभदोषः

लोभात् क्षीयते धर्मः, लोभो नयति पतनाय।

लोभी न तृप्यति कदाचित्, तृप्तौ परमं सुखम्॥

६. अविद्यादोषः

अविद्यया जायते मोहः, मोहात् नश्यति सत्यम्।

सत्ये नष्टे भवति दुःखं, तद्विनाशाय ज्ञानम्॥

ज्ञानम्

न हि ज्ञानेन सदृशं पवित्रमिह विद्यते।

तत् स्वयं योगसंसिद्धः कालेनात्मनि विन्दति॥

न बाह्येषु प्रकाशेषु न शब्देषु न तर्केषु।

शुद्धे चित्ते स्थिते शान्ते ज्ञानं स्वयमेव भाति॥

योगयुक्तो यदा नित्यं स्वात्मन्येवावतिष्ठते।

तस्मै सत्यं स्वयं भाति कदाचन नान्यत्र॥

सत्यज्ञानम्

सर्वस्य जगतः कर्ता, जीवनस्य परं पदम्।

आनन्दस्यैकनिधिः सः, ब्रह्मतत्त्वं सनातनम्॥

सर्वभूतधारकः देवः, जगत् पोषयते नित्यम्।

निःशब्दकृपायुक्तः सः, सर्वं ददाति निरन्तरम्॥

यत्र सर्वे प्रवाहाः स्युर्, लयं यान्ति निरन्तरम्।

रूपातीतं परं तत्त्वं, स्वप्नतुल्यं जगत्त्रयम्॥

यः जानाति हृदि स्वस्य तत्त्वमेतत् सनातनम्।

स एव ज्ञानवान् लोके, पूर्णत्वं लभते ध्रुवम्॥

उत्तमा योनि: तथा ज्ञानप्राप्तिः

यः आत्मा वारं वारम् उत्तमां योनिम् आप्नोति,

सः जीवनकाले उत्तमं गुरुं प्राप्नोति।। 

स निश्चितं ज्ञानवान् भवति।

अहंकारो महादोषः, सहिष्णुता परो गुणः।

अहंकारे हता लङ्का, अतिदर्पे पतन्ति नराः॥

मदान्धः पतति सर्वत्र, धर्मेणैव सुखं भवेत्।

विनयेन सदा शान्तिः, धर्मयुक्तः सदा जयति॥

अनादिबन्धनच्छेदो विमुक्तिः परमं सुखम् ॥

न जनकल्याणार्थम् विना पूर्वजन्मप्रकाशनम्

निषिद्धं दृढधर्मेण दिव्यन्यायेन शाश्वतम्॥

स्वात्मतत्त्वविवेकः स्यात् कृतिः प्रत्येकस्यात्मनः।

स्वयमेव हि विज्ञेयं आत्मरूपं सनातनम्॥

यस्मिन् मध्ये विद्यते आत्मज्ञानम्,

स एव हि कथ्यते आत्मा॥

अधिकारनीतिः

सत्यस्य मार्गेऽधिकारयोग्यः॥

यो बोधयेद् अन्यजनं हि सम्यक्,

तस्यास्ति ज्ञानं यदि सुसम्यक्।

अज्ञानयुक्ता कथिता हि वाचः,

नयन्ति लोकान् विपथं भ्रंशम्॥

तस्मात् सनातनधर्मोऽयं ब्रूते,

न सर्व एवोपदिशन्ति शास्त्रे।

येषां तु ज्ञानं विशदं विमुक्तं,

ते एव लोकाय प्रदिशन्ति मार्गम्॥

शास्त्रार्थबोधयोग्यता

शास्त्रार्थबोधाय विवेकयुक्ता

सूक्ष्मा बुद्धिर्विज्ञानयुक्ता ।

युक्तिप्रधाना प्रबुद्धा बुद्धिः

तद्विना न सिद्ध्येत् गूढार्थगतिः॥

शास्त्राध्ययननीति।

गुरुपादाम्बुजयोगेन शास्त्रमध्येत न संशयः।

यथा प्रदीप्तदीपः तमो नाशयति तत्त्वतः॥

निहत्य मोहजालं गुरुः सत्यं तत्र न संशयः।

शास्त्रार्थसमीक्षया तेन मोक्षमार्गः प्रसस्तय॥

ज्ञानदाननीतिः - नियमः

(मुक्तछन्दः)

यो यावद् ज्ञानधारणसमर्थः स्यात्,

तस्य तावत् ज्ञानं स्वाभाविकं भवेत्।

यो यदा यावत् ज्ञानलाभयोगः स्यात्,

तस्मै तु ज्ञानदानमेव कर्तव्यम् सदैव॥

भिन्नोऽयं व्यवहारः सदाऽपि परिहर्तव्यः,

अनिष्टफलत्वात् स परिगृहीतः परिहर्तव्यः।

यः सदा ज्ञानकामः प्रणतः समर्थः प्रयत्नवान्,

तस्मैव ज्ञानं देयं नान्यस्मै कदाचन॥

एष नूनं संसारस्य नित्यो नियमः।

आत्मा–देहगृहविचारः

(मुक्तछन्दः)

यदा गृहमिदं जीर्णं न वासायोपपद्यते।

तदा निवासिनस्तस्मात् त्यजन्ति स्वयमेव ते॥

तथा शरीरमेतज्जीर्णं न कर्मण्युपपद्यते।

तदा देहं परित्यज्य जीवोऽन्यत्रोपपद्यते॥

यदा गृहमिदं भग्नं न पुनर्निर्मितुं क्षमम्।

तदा तद् धूलिरूपेण नश्यत्येव निरन्तरम्॥

तथा शरीरमेतद् भग्नं न पुनः स्थापयितुं क्षमम्।

स्वभावादेव विनश्यति चोपगच्छति पञ्चत्वम्॥

न शक्यं तदिदं रूपं पुनरेव उद्जीवितुम्।

न प्राणः पुनरायाति त्यक्ते देहे कथंचन॥

एष धर्मः सनातनः शास्त्रेषु परिकीर्तितः।

देहभेदेऽपि नित्यात्मा याति स्वमार्गेणैव॥

इत्यात्मदेहगृहविचारः समाप्तः॥

सती-आदर्श-नारी-चरित्रम्

सती नारी सदा शुद्धा, आदर्शा च सुसंयता।

परपुरुषसङ्गं त्यक्त्वा, वर्तते सा पतिव्रता॥

अन्यायपापसङ्गं त्यक्त्वा, धर्ममार्गे सदा स्थिता।

गृहे प्रिया समाजेषु, सर्वत्र सा सुपूजिता॥

वेददृष्ट्या मूर्तिस्नानम्

न वेदमन्त्रेषु क्वापि दुग्धाभिषेको विधीयते,

न श्रुतिषु प्रतिमास्नानं स्पष्टतया प्रकीर्त्यते॥

नाग्निहोत्रेषु देवस्य दुग्धस्नानं प्रकाशितम्,

न सोमयागेषु तद्वाक्यं विधिरूपेण निर्दिष्टम्॥

अग्नये घृतधारास्तु वेदमन्त्रैः प्रदीयते,

सोमो यागेषु विधिना श्रद्धया प्रविधीयते॥

आपः शुद्ध्यै प्रशस्यन्ते मन्त्रशक्तिप्रबोधिताः,

सत्यं ब्रह्म सनातनं ऋषिभिः सम्प्रकीर्तितम्॥

न देवो दुग्धधाराभिः तुष्यति स्वमहिम्नि हि,

पूर्णस्य न किमप्यस्ति आवश्यकं कदाचन॥

भक्त्या तु रूपकल्पनया प्रेमधारा प्रवर्तते,

तया जगदपि देवत्वं भावतः प्रतिपद्यते॥

पूर्णगुरुः

शास्त्रज्ञानसमायुक्तो ब्रह्मतत्त्वविशारदः ।

साधनयोगसमन्वितो ब्रह्मसाक्षात्कृतिदः ॥

शुद्धान्तःकरणोपेतो निर्मलो विगतकल्मषः ।

एवंलक्षणसम्पन्नः स एव पूर्णगुरुः परिकीर्तितः॥

गुरु-स्तोत्रम्

(गुरुतत्त्व)

गुरुर्ब्रह्मा गुरुर्विष्णुः गुरुर्देवो महेश्वरः।

गुरुः साक्षात् परं ब्रह्म तस्मै श्रीगुरवे नमः॥

द्वौ गुणौ गुरोः आवश्यकौ - सिद्धिः ब्रह्मज्ञानं च।

ताभ्यां यः शिक्षयति शिष्यांस्तु स एव श्रीगुरुः स्मृतः॥

गुरुलक्षणम्

न जन्मना न चाश्रमेण न वेषेण न कीर्त्या ।

न बाह्याभरणैर्गुरुत्वं न लोकोक्त्या प्रसिद्ध्या ॥

शास्त्रेषु निपुणो विद्वान् श्रुतिसारपरायणः ।

ब्रह्मणि दृढनिष्ठो यः स गुरुः कथ्यते तत्त्वदर्शिभिः ॥

ब्रह्मतत्त्वस्य साक्षात्कारी तत्त्वदर्शी महामतिः ।

अनुभूतस्वरूपज्ञः स विज्ञेयः सुदीधितिः ॥

दमशमसमायुक्तः शुद्धान्तःकरणो जितेन्द्रियः ।

लोभमानविहीनात्मा स ज्ञेयः संयमी मुनिः ॥

करुणासिन्धुः सर्वेषां भूतहिते सदा स्थितः ।

ब्रह्मण्येव स्थितप्रज्ञः शान्तचित्तो निरामयः ॥

विरक्तो विषयेष्वेव निर्ममो निरहङ्कृतिः ।

एवंलक्षणसम्पन्नः स गुरुः परिकीर्तितः ॥

दुर्भाग्यम्

मम दुर्भाग्यस्य कारणं नान्यो दोषी।

मम दुर्भाग्यस्य कारणं अहम् एव दोषी॥

दुर्भाग्येऽपि अहं पश्यामि नवं प्रकाशम्।

दुर्भाग्यस्य नाशात् सर्वं पुनः भविता सुखदम्॥

दुर्भाग्यं कदापि न मन्येत महाऽहितकरम्।

दुर्भाग्यनाशात् पुनरागमिष्यति सुखं परम्॥

साधुः सन्तः संन्यासी योगी

यः धर्ममार्गानुगतः साधनानिष्ठः  स एव साधुः।

यः सत्यनिष्ठः भगवत्स्मरणपरायणः स एव सन्तः।

यः कर्मफलत्यागी धर्मनिष्ठः  स एव संन्यासी।

यः स्वात्मानं परमात्मनि योजयति स एव योगी।

भगवत्कथाश्रवणस्य महिमा

(तीर्थातीतं भगवत्स्मरणम्)

अहं अज्ञानी मनसि आशां बिभ्र्याम्।

सर्वानि तीर्थानि भ्रमणेन द्रक्ष्यामि इत्यहम्।

परन्तु भगवत्कृपया श्रवणे ज्ञातवान्।

केवलं भगवत्कथाश्रवणमननचिन्तने।

सर्वतत्त्वतीर्थपुण्यज्ञानं विद्यमानम्।

एष अज्ञानिभक्तेभ्यः ददाति ऊर्ध्वमार्गम्।

एष सनातनधर्मस्य सनातनमतम्॥

धर्म-तत्त्वज्ञानम्।

यो जीवः न जानाति धर्मस्य मूलतत्त्वज्ञानम्।

तस्य समीपे धर्मः घनान्धकारसमानः।

तत्त्वज्ञानमेव हि धर्मपथस्य सूर्यसमानम्।

तत्त्वज्ञानविना धर्मः अन्धकारसमानः।

अन्धधर्मे वर्धते कुसंस्कारः च अज्ञानम्।

अन्धकारे धर्माचरणं मृत्युसमानम्।

विज्ञान - श्रीभगवान्।

अज्ञानी मन्यते विज्ञानमेव महाबलिनम्।

विज्ञानमेव सर्वस्वं, शेषं सर्वं मलिनम्।

विज्ञानी वदति यत् सर्वं ईश्वरस्य दानम्।

वयं केवलं कुर्मः श्रमं च अनुसन्धानम्।

अस्माकं फलानि ददाति श्रीभगवान्।

ईश्वरदर्शनम्।

स्वधामे स्वशरीरे दर्शनम्।

परधामे सूक्ष्मशरीरे दर्शनम्।

अवतारे अवताररूपे दर्शनम्।

स्वप्ने च अनुभूतौ च प्रमाणसहितं दर्शनम्।

एवमेतानि ईश्वरस्य प्रामाणिकदर्शनानि॥

ईश्वरदर्शनम्।

ईश्वरदर्शनं स्वधाम्नि स्वशरीरे च दृश्यते।

परधाम्नि सूक्ष्मदेहे च अवतारस्वरूपतः दृश्यते॥

कदाचित् प्रमाणयुक्ते स्वप्ने दृश्यते भक्तज्ञानी।

एवमेव हि तानि सर्वाणि ईश्वरस्य प्रमाणानि॥

ईश्वर–दर्शन–श्रवण–तत्त्व–श्लोकः

छायाज्योतिषु संयतात्मा साक्षाद् पश्यति देवम्।

नादे सूक्ष्मे हृदि श्रुत्वा बोधयत्यात्मनं दिव्यम्॥

धरातले ईश्वर–अंशावतारयोः परिचयः।

न वदति भगवान् धरातले न भवति अवतीर्णः।

अवतरणात् पूर्वमेव शास्त्रेषु तस्यावतरणकथायाः भवति वर्णनम्।

अपि च तस्य शरीरे दिव्यचिह्नानि सन्ति विराजमानम्।

एतदेव सनातनधर्मे वर्णितम्, युगे युगे प्रतिपादितम्।

धरातले ईश्वर–अंशावतारयोः परिचयः।

न वदति भगवान्, धरातले न भवति अवतीर्णः।

अवतरणात् पूर्वमेव शास्त्रेषु तस्य अवतरणकथायाः भवति वर्णनम्।

अपि च तस्य शरीरे दिव्यचिह्नानि सन्ति विराजमानम्।

एतदेव सनातनधर्मे वर्णितम्, युगे युगे प्रतिपादितम्॥

भगवदवतारवर्णनम्

भगवतोऽवतारा बहुधा प्रकीर्तिताः,

धर्मसंस्थापनार्थं लोकेऽवतारिताः॥

तेषां तत्त्वरहस्यं गूढं न सुलभं बोधितुम्,

भक्त्या तु दिव्यतत्त्वं हृदि स्फुरति नित्यम्॥

चतुर्व्यूहेषु रूपेषु वासुदेवः परः स्मृतः,

संकर्षणः प्रद्युम्नोऽनिरुद्धश्च अंशावताराः॥

एते हि व्यूहभेदाः दिव्यरूपप्रकाशकाः,

भगवतः स्वरूपस्य भिन्नांशाः प्रकाशकाः॥

तेषामप्यंशरूपाणि लोके विभान्ति नित्यम्,

तानि भगवतः शक्त्या विश्वं बिभ्रति सततम्॥

अन्ये तु गुणावतारा जगति विख्याताः,

सत्त्वादिगुणभेदेन रूपाणि विभ्रताः॥

तेषामपि स्वरूपाणि लोके विभान्ति हि,

लीलया भगवान् विश्वं नित्यं बिभर्ति हि॥

भगवत्प्रसन्नता

(मुक्तछन्दः)

यः भक्तः स्तौति भगवतः चतुर्व्यूहरूपम्,

तस्मै भगवान् भवति प्रसन्नः सदा अत्यन्तम्॥

यः भक्तः स्तौति पार्श्वदेवतानां समरूपम्,

तस्मै भगवान् भवति प्रसन्नः सदा सर्वाधिकम्॥

एतदेव हि परमं सत्यं नित्यम्,

सर्वयुगेषु सर्वकालेष्वपरिवर्तनीयम्॥

सर्वकालेष्वपरिवर्तनीयम्=सर्व+ कालेषु + अपरिवर्तनीयम्

अवतारागमन-प्रस्थानस्य गूढत्वम्।

जगन्नाथ एव स्वकं जानात्यवतारसमागतम्।

मर्त्यलोकात् प्रस्थानं तस्यैवास्ति सुबोधितम्॥

न ब्रह्मा न च वेदाश्च न देवासुरमानवाः।

केवलमनुमानेन महिमा तस्य अनुभव्यते॥

कर्तृत्वाभिमान-फलत्यागयुक्त कर्मयोगः

निःस्वार्थभावेन स्वकर्मणां पालनं हि स्वधर्मः उत्तमः।

निष्कामभावेन स्वकर्मणां पालनं हि स्वधर्मः परमः॥

कर्तृत्वाभिमान-फलत्यागेन युक्तं तत् श्रेष्ठमुत्कृष्टम्॥

एतत् सनातनधर्मस्य परमं तत्त्वं युगे युगे प्रकीर्तितम्॥

स्वमार्ग-स्वधर्मनिष्ठा

स्वमार्गे चलतु नित्यं, न परैः विचलितो भवेत्।

स्वधर्मे स्थितचित्तः स्यात्, न कदापि च्युतो भवेत्॥

नान्येषां मार्गमाश्रित्य, स्वभावं न परिवर्तयेत्।

स्वकर्मसु दृढो भूत्वा, जीवनं सफलं नयेत्॥

भिन्ना जीवाः भिन्नमार्गाः, न तुल्यो भवेत् कश्चिद्।

स्वधर्मे यः स्थितो नित्यं, स एव सफलो भवेत्॥

पापं दया-दण्डः

अज्ञानेन कृतं पापं दया भवति सदा।

ज्ञानेन कृतं पापं दण्डः निश्चितः तदा॥

सर्वदा कर्मफलं ज्ञात्वा विवेकं सम्पादयेत्।

यद् अज्ञानात् कृतं पापं तत् क्षम्यतामिति स्फुरेत्॥

दयाधर्मनीतिः

दया हि धर्मस्य मूलं, दया हि सर्वसुखप्रदा।

दया हि मानवत्वस्य भूषणं, दया हि परमा स्मृता॥

दया न केवलं वाक्ये, न केवलं भूषणम्।

कर्मणा सा प्रकटिता भवेत्, तदा धर्मः फलप्रदः॥

नित्यपापिनि चापराधिनि दया ह्यसत्कर्म कथ्यते।

तस्मिन् उचितं दण्डप्रदानं धर्म इति भाष्यते॥

धर्मदुरुपयोग-धर्मदूषणम्

यः करोति धर्मेण व्यापारं, तस्य जीवनं केवलं असारम्।

यः करोति धर्मेण दर्पं, स तु अज्ञानी मूर्खसमः॥

यः करोति लोकदर्शनार्थं धर्मं, तस्य धर्मः व्यर्थं कर्म।

यः इच्छति धर्मं नियन्तुं, स अज्ञानी एव मूर्खसमः॥

यः वदति धर्मं केवलं वचनेन, नाचरति कर्मणा किञ्चित्।

तस्य वचनं निरर्थकं ज्ञेयं, शुष्कवृक्षफलमिव निश्चितम्॥

यः धर्मनाम्ना करोति हिंसां, स्वार्थ-सिद्ध्यर्थमेव नित्यं।

स अधर्मी धर्मवेषधारी सन् लोकान् मोहयति-एतदेव सत्यं॥

धर्मो न केवलं शास्त्रं, न च केवलं व्रतपूजनम्।

यत्र भक्तिभावः सत्याचारश्च, स एव धर्मः शाश्वतः॥

धर्मप्रदूषणनिवारणम्

(मिथ्यैश्वरदोषः)

ब्रह्मणा सृष्टाः जीवाः काले काले निर्मीयन्ते अनेकाः मिथ्यैश्वराः ।

ब्रह्मणं च अंशब्रह्मणं च न जानन्ति, मुखाद् हरिम् ईश्वरं वदन्ति ॥

ब्रह्मणा सृष्टाः एते जीवाः पुनः पुनः कुर्वन्ति धर्मस्य प्रदूषणं ।

भगवान् पूर्णब्रह्म एतत् पापं यथाकालं करोति मूलच्छेदं  ॥

स्वयमेवेश्वरत्वभ्रमः

(मुक्तछन्दः)

ब्रह्मा रचयति विचित्रान् नरान्,

ये स्वयं वदन्ति “अहं नारायणः”।

न जानन्ति यथावत् ब्रह्मतत्त्वम्,

अज्ञानतः वदन्ति “स्वयमेव परमेश्वरः”॥

दर्शयन्ति शास्त्राणि, वदन्ति सत्यम्,

“अहमेव ईश्वरः, केवलं ममैव सत्यम्”।

वदन्ति “वयं ज्ञानी, वयं भगवान्”,

अन्ये सर्वे नश्वराः,ते अज्ञानिनः॥

जगत्संसारभयविश्वासनीतिः

एषः जगत्संसारः महाभयाभयम्।

चतुर्दिक्षु व्याप्तं भयम्; सहजेन न लभ्यते नरोत्तमः।

यावत् न लभ्यते पूर्णं प्रमाणम्,

तावत् न विश्वासं कुर्यात्, न च अनुमानम्॥

एतत् स्मर-एषः जगत्संसारः महाभयाभयम्।

परिवारतत्त्वविवेचनम्

ये स्वजनान् भगवद्भक्तिपथे नियोजयन्ति,

ते सत्यमेव महान्तः, गुणसम्पन्नाः सदा सन्ति।

ये स्वजनान् स्वर्गगम्यपथे प्रबोधयन्ति मानवाः,

ते खलु परिवाराः सन्तः, शेषाः नाममात्रकाः।

ये स्वजनान् पापमार्गे प्रबोधयन्ति मानवाः,

ते खलु परिवाराः न सन्तः, वस्तुतोऽधममार्गगाः॥

तु च त्वम्:(तु और तुम्)

वेदेषु “तु” विरोधार्थे, न कदापि जनसञ्ज्ञकः।

नरं न सूचयत्येष, केवलं भेदसूचकः॥

पुराणेषु तथैवोक्तं, “तु” सदा खलु “किन्तु”।

“त्वम्” शब्दः पुरुषार्थे, संबोधने प्रयुज्यते॥

“त्वम्” श्रूयते गीतायां, वेदवाक्येषु भूयः।

संस्कृते शुद्धरूपेण, दिव्यभावप्रकाशकः॥

कालान्तरे प्रवाहेण, भाषा जाता सरलतरा।

“त्वम्” इति रूपं रूपान्तरं, लोके जातं “तुम्”॥

अर्थो न परिवर्तितः, केवलं ध्वनिभेदतः।

शास्त्रेषु तु “त्वम्” शुद्धं, लोके “तुम्” प्रचलितम्॥

वेदपुराणसम्मानं, रक्षामः श्रद्धयान्विताः।

शब्दशुद्धौ स्थितो धर्मः, भाषायां च सनातनः॥

निष्कर्ष-

सनातन धर्म के शास्त्रों में संबोधनार्थक “त्वम्”

का उल्लेख मिलता है, जिससे “तुम्” रूप 

विकसित हुआ है।वर्तमान बोलचाल में संबोधन 

के रूप में प्रयुक्त “तु” का शास्त्रीय प्रमाण 

उपलब्ध नहीं है। अतः संबोधन के प्रसंग में “तुम्”

 का प्रयोग ही अधिक शास्त्रसम्मत माना जाना चाहिए

परचर्चा अनुचितं पापं न पातकम्।

परनिन्दा महापापं, परनिन्दा महादुःखम्।

परनिन्दा भयाभयं, परनिन्दा महाभयम्॥

परनिन्दा अनुचितं, परनिन्दा महादोषः।

द्वेषाहङ्काराज्ञानवशात् परकीं प्रतिष्ठां हन्ति।

इति निन्दा पापरूपिणी, लोकधर्मं दहति॥

दिव्यसाधनानि

(मुक्तछन्द )

पिता माता च जीवनस्य प्रथमौ दिव्यसाधनौ।

तयोः श्रद्धासमाचारात् शुद्ध्यते मानसं जनौ॥

पुत्रः पुत्री च धर्मस्य संवर्धननिदर्शनौ।

प्रेमयुक्तेन सेवया भवतः पुण्यसाधनौ॥

पत्नी सहधर्मचारिणी सत्यमार्गस्य साधिका।

तस्याः सम्मानयोगेन भवति चेतना शुद्धिः॥

सुहृदः सत्यदर्पणं दोषगुणप्रकाशिकाः।

तेषां सदुपयोगेन जायते बुद्धिः धारिका॥

गुरवो ज्ञानदीपास्ते तमोमोहविनाशकाः।

तदनुग्रहयोगेन मार्गः स्यात् सुप्रकाशकः॥

एतानि दिव्यसाधनानि ये नराः श्रद्धयोजिताः।

शीघ्रमेव समीपं यान्ति परमेश्वरस्य समीपाः॥

निन्दा-समालोचनयोः तत्त्वविवेचनम्।

न्यायसम्मता समालोचना, यदि स्याद् हितकारिणी।

सा शुभा जनहितायैव, शुद्धभावप्रदर्शिनी॥

द्वेषतः या तु निन्दा स्यात्, असत्यदोषयुक्ता सा।

सा निन्दा निन्दनीया एव, कीर्तिनाशप्रदा सदा॥

सत्यं हितं च यद् वाक्यं, सा निन्दा शुभदा स्मृता।

अन्यथा यत् किमप्य् उक्तं, सा निन्दा विषवत् सदा॥

शान्तिनिलयः

वर्षान् वर्षान् शान्तिमन्वेषमाणः,

देवे विप्रेऽन्तर्जले च भ्रमानः।

मन्दिरेषु जनसङ्गे च धावन्,

क्षिप्ररात्रौ च चञ्चलत्वं लभानः॥

सुखे दुःखे परिवर्तनप्रवाहे,

तारावद् दूरा समीपेऽपि राहे।

यदा तु मेऽन्वेषणं सर्वमस्तम्,

तदा शान्तिः स्तिमिता मे समस्तम्॥

सा प्रोवाच-“न यत्र हृद् व्याकुलाय,

न यत्र मृत्योर्भयं बद्धनाय।

मोक्षे यत्र पुनर्जन्मनाशः,

तत्रैव शान्तेर्महाभासव्यासः॥

द्रष्टा-दर्शन-दृश्ये विलीनम्,

यदस्ति तत्त्वं सनातन-प्रवीनम्।

तत्रैव मोक्षे विमुक्ते निराशे,

पूर्णा परा शान्तिरास्ते प्रकाशे॥

शृणुत भक्तगणाः एतद् सत्यं वचनम्।

न कदापि स्वात्मानं मन्येत महाजनम्।

विनम्रता मौनता च मानवस्य अतिमहद्गुणौ।

एतद् वचनं स्मरणीयं - मा विस्मर कदाचन॥

शुद्धेन मनसा कर्म धर्ममार्गे प्रशस्यते ॥

यज्ञेन स्वर्गगुणधनवरलाभाः संपद्यन्ति स्वफलतः ।

न तु तेनैव लभ्येत् साक्षादीश्वरसन्निधिः फलतः ॥

योगाभ्यासेन दुःखनाशशान्तिचैतन्यवृद्धयः स्युः क्रमतः ।

भगवत्प्राप्तिरपि स्यात् भक्तिज्ञानसमन्वयतः ॥

विज्ञानः सञ्चालयति ब्रह्माण्डम्।

तत्त्वज्ञानं सञ्चालयति संसारम्।

विवाहनीतिः

एकविवाहः श्रेष्ठः स्यात् लोके धर्मपरायणः।

सुखदः शान्तिदः नित्यं जीवनस्य हितावहः॥ 

धर्मरक्षार्थमेवात्र बहुविवाहः कदाचन।

अन्यथा स दुःखदः स्यात् सदा क्लेशवृद्धिकरः॥

एकविवाहे सन्तोषः भार्यापत्यसमन्वितः।

शान्तिः प्रेम च नित्यं स्यात् हृदये सुखवर्धितः॥ 

बहूनामेकगृहस्थे विवादः स्यादनिवारितः।

कलहः क्लेशदः नित्यं जीवनं दुःखवर्धितम्॥ 

तस्मादेकविवाहोऽयं श्रेयस्करः बुधैः स्मृतः।

बहुविवाहो लोकेऽस्मिन् दुःखहेतुः प्रकीर्तितः॥

परस्त्रीगर्भधारणं महापापप्रदायकम्।

नियोगसंयोगप्रथा भ्रष्टाचारस्य कारणम्॥

कुमार्या सह सङ्गं तत् पापहेतुप्रदायकम्।

सृष्टेः संसारहेतूनां महाअहितकरं ध्रुवम्॥

देशाद् देशं प्रव्रजामि न कश्चित् मे स्थिरं गृहम्।

कथं ब्रूयामहं गर्वात् “अयं धर्मो ममैकतः”?

यदा जीवाः सहस्रेषु पन्थान् यान्ति नानातः॥

यावत् सत्यं न पश्यामि जन्मबन्धविवर्जितम्।

न मे जातिर्न मे धर्मो न देशो न सुहृदः मम॥

सृष्टि-स्थिति-प्रलयः भवति नित्यं,

इत्यस्य संसारचक्रस्य नियमः।

ब्रह्मा सृष्टिं करोति नित्यम्,

विष्णुः पालयते जगतः सुखम्।

कालः प्रलयं करोति च नित्यम्,

इत्यस्य संसारचक्रस्य नियमः।

कालचक्रम्-समयचक्रम्

(मुक्तछन्दः)

न कश्चिद् लभते सिद्धिं कालेन विना क्वचित्,

न कश्चिद् वर्धते लोके कालेन विना क्वचित्॥ 

काले बीजं प्रसूयते, काले पुष्पं प्ररोहति,

काले फलमवाप्नोति, काले सर्वं प्रवर्धते॥

केचित् शीघ्रं प्रकाशन्ते, केचित् शनैः प्रवर्धन्ते,

न कालः कञ्चन बाधते, स्वमार्गेणैव प्रवर्तते॥

The Formless-silent, vast, unseen,

Beyond all thought, where none has been.

No color there, no shape, no name,

A boundless, ever-equal flame.

The mind that clings to sound and sight

Finds not its hold in endless Light.

It wanders still, by senses led,

Through paths where fleeting shadows spread.

How shall one grasp the Infinite,

Who knows the world by touch and sight?

The embodied soul, in nature tied,

Seeks something near, not vast and wide.

Thus the saint spoke with gentle art-

“Let form be the bridge for the heart.”

In image pure, in name divine,

The restless mind begins to align.

Through eyes that see, and hands that serve,

Through love that flows with steady nerve,

The finite bows to the Supreme,

And wakes at last from transient dream.

The idol is not stone alone,

But a step toward the Unseen Throne.

From form to formless, path is made,

Where fear dissolves and doubts all fade.

So worship Him in form you know,

Let love within you deeply grow-

For through that form, with heart made still,

You touch the One beyond all will.

In this world, none truly wish to hear,

Nor seek the truth that lies so near.

Each voice rises, eager to proclaim,

Its own story, its own name.

All long to speak, but none to heed,

Lost in pride and selfish need.

Until misfortune strikes the soul,

No one seeks what makes them whole.

In this world, all chase their fame,

Spreading wide their fleeting name.

None here wish to listen-lost in pride;

Truth stands silent, pushed aside.

This is the hard reality of Earth-

Every pure soul knows it from birth.

The Illusion of Righteousness

In every faith the teachers say,

“Stand firm with truth, do not betray.”

They speak aloud with earnest might,

To guide the world toward what is right.

Where sins lie hid beneath their creed,

And truth is lost in word and deed.

They preach of paths both pure and wise,

Yet fail to see through veiling lies.

Unknowing minds, yet proud they lead,

Confusing want with righteous deed.

They walk in darkness, claim the light,

And name the false as holy right.

Their followers, with faithful heart,

Accept the whole, not knowing part.

Thus wrong appears in virtue’s guise,

And falsehood shines before their eyes.

O seeker, turn your gaze within,

Where silent truths alone begin.

For right is known when ego dies,

And truth stands bare, free of lies.

From Sin to Salvation

He who leaves the righteous way,

In thought and deed goes far astray.

By repeated wrongs, the path is laid,

It starts in mind, then grows ingrained.

What first appears a fleeting stain,

Becomes a chain of silent pain.

Through true remorse and earnest prayer,

The soul is healed with loving care.

By justice, grace, and truth above,

The sinner rises through divine love.

Language and Righteousness

Language is a tool where thoughts are shared,

To speak with love, with mindful care.

With words and rules, minds find a way,

To show what hearts would wish to say.

Yet righteousness needs no single tongue,

Its truth in every tongue is sung.

In every land, in voices free,

It lives in pure integrity.

No language blocks what’s right and true,

For duty shines in all that’s due.

Actions speak both loud and clear,

Their fruits will follow far and near.

So speak in words or silent stay,

Deeds alone will show the way.

For righteousness and actions prove,

The truth that lives, the life that moves.

Dream, Death, Rebirth and the Soul

When silent slips the soul away,

No mortal sense can trace its way.

No tremor stirs the lifeless frame,

No sign appears, none speaks its name.

In subtle vastness moves the soul,

Beyond all breath, beyond control.

Alone it glides from realms divine,

Or led by Yama’s aides through Time.

Along death’s path, by karma shown,

In ways unknown, it journeys on.

But when it takes a form once more,

And enters flesh as done before,

A sudden pain, a conscious start,

Proclaims its presence in the heart.

That touch of life, that stirring flame,

Declares the soul has come again.

Through sense and ache, the truth is shown

The living self is not the bone.

O wandering mind, be not misled

By dreams where fleeting shadows spread.

Not all that seems is truly real;

Discern the truth that pain reveals.

For dreams may weave illusion’s veil,

Yet signs of truth shall still prevail.

Know by that spark, so deep within-

The soul returns, and life begins.

Late regrets will wound the core.

When breath departs and soul has flown,

No service then can still be shown.

Empty hands and tearful cries,

Cannot reach the soul that flies.

Kind words spoken, deeds so kind,

Leave a lasting peace behind.

Do not wait for “someday” call,

That day may not come at all.

So act today with love sincere,

Hold your dear ones ever near.

In living moments, truth is clear-

Serve them now, while they are here.

Two Souls

Two souls dwell within this world,

One seeks truth, one joy and gold.

The wise one knows life beyond death,

He walks the path with steady breath.

He works with care, with virtue in sight,

And earns his fruits beyond this light.

No gold or wealth can cross that shore,

His deeds live after death and evermore.

The ignorant denies the beyond,

To fleeting wealth he grows so fond.

He gathers riches, gold and land,

Yet leaves them all when life does end.

With empty hands, he walks alone,

No seeds are sown, no good is grown.

Thus bound in grief, in pain and chain,

He reaps but loss, again, again.

So learn this truth before life’s end,

The path you choose will surely bend.

The wise finds peace, serene and free,

The ignorant lives bound in misery.

No two souls are ever the same,

No two lives can share one frame.

No two paths alike will stay,

Each walks alone, day by day.

Stories differ-joy and pain,

None will ever match again.

Some rise swiftly, some grow slow,

Different souls give different glow.

Each soul blooms in its own time,

Each hums its quiet, inner rhyme.

So never compare, nor feel low,

Your life moves in its destined flow.

When Religion Forgets Its Eternal Essence

(The Essence of True Religion)

When any religion loses its eternal essence,

It slowly becomes a matter of mere occasions.

The followers drift away from the true way;

And when their ages pass, they are swept away.

Hence,one should follow the path of true religion,

So the soul may return to its desired pavilion.

When Religion Loses Its Sanctity

Just as a river, once deep and wide,

Turns into dust when its streams have died,

So too does faith, when truth departs,

Grow faint and hollow in human hearts.

When it loses divine laws, pure and free,

Its purity fades in silence-none can see.

When form remains but the soul is gone,

Its sacred light no longer shines on.

Rituals linger, but love and devotion fade,

Like shadows cast where light once played.

The words are spoken, the acts are done,

Yet lack the warmth of the inner sun.

For true religion is not mere name,

Nor rigid rule, nor outward claim;

Its life resides in the spirit’s flame,

In truth, in love-forever the same.

When essence lives, it shines so bright,

A guiding force, a path of light;

But drained of soul, it cannot remain-

A lifeless form, an empty frame.

Unity of the Divine

By different names, the One is called,

Through varied paths, yet One for all.

In Krishna’s flute, the cosmos sings,

In Allah’s will, creation springs.

In Krishna, love and Lila shine,

In God, grace and truth divine.

Different tongues, yet truth the same,

One eternal, many a name.

Balabhadra stands in strength and light,

Guiding souls on paths of right.

In Jesus Christ’s sacrifice we see

Love, compassion, and humility.

Paths are many, the goal is One,

Like countless rays from a single sun.

Let not division cloud the sight-

All seek the same eternal Light.

The Habit and Mistake of the Jiva

The jiva dwells where once his birth had been,

And thinks that place alone his world has been.

He cries that fate and others bring him pain,

And sees in all around a hostile chain.

He knows not deeds that shaped his present way,

Nor trusts the justice none can take away.

He clings to kin, to caste, to fleeting ties,

And deems them all, beneath illusion’s skies.

Forgetting call divine, so soft yet true,

He weaves his plans in worldly, narrow view.

Thus lost in self, in pride and binding drama,

He fails to see the law of higher karma.

This is his fault, the blindness of the soul-

He leaves the truth that makes the jiva whole.

In this world, life appears so real,

Yet all it holds is but a passing veil.

After death, the soul begins to see

The hidden truth of what was meant to be.

This worldly life-no more than a dream,

A fleeting shadow, not what it may seem.

When death arrives, the soul awakes at last,

Freed from the illusion of the past.

Therefore in life, let righteous actions guide,

With virtue and good deeds held deep inside.

Else after death, one surely must endure

Great pain and sorrow-none can make it pure.

Life is but a play; death reveals the truth

It runs its course here, then dissolves into truth.

The Reality of Life

(Divine Spell of Life)

God grants to every soul a span,

A silent gift, unseen by man.

Within the heart it softly lies,

A hidden flame that never dies.

Some use this spell to spread the light,

And kindle hope in darkest night.

While others wander, lost in chase,

Of fleeting dreams and empty race.

This spell is freedom, this is choice,

Bestowed on all with silent voice.

To shape one's path, to rise or fall,

The Divine entrusts this gift to all.

Yet when the spell draws near its end,

No wealth nor power can defend.

The body turns to dust again,

Released from time and mortal pain.

But deeds of truth, the seeds once sown,

Shall live when earthly breath has flown.

For life’s a sacred role we play,

Till time dissolves the fleeting day.

For worship there is no time,

No need for bell or chant or chime;

God only sees devotion, not time-

A loving heart is truth sublime.

God does not see what you offer,

Nor judge the outer golden cover;

He only sees respect hidden in the wrapper,

The silent faith you gently offer.

No wealth nor grand display He sees,

No costly gifts or rituals please;

A humble heart bowed down in prayer

Brings the Lord to dwell and hear.

So worship not by hour or art,

But with a pure and faithful heart;

Where love and reverence shine in heart,

There begins true worship, devotion’s start.

Fabric of Truth

What is woven out of threads of lies

Shines for a moment - then slowly dies.

Its colors fade, its strength is small,

Built on shadows, it must fall.

Falsehood fashions learning’s art,

Education bright- yet void at heart;

For wisdom wrapped in deceitful thread

Is living light - yet already dead.

A king who builds his throne on lies

May dazzle crowds and seem so wise;

Yet time unveils the hidden flaw -

His crown shall break by justice’s law.

A kingdom raised on falsehood’s ground

May glitter wide with trumpet sound;

But hidden cracks beneath the hall

Will topple power, proud and tall.

But cloth of truth, though plain it seems,

Glows with light beyond all dreams.

No storm can tear, no fire consume,

It carries peace, it banishes gloom.

Truth may walk a silent way,

Yet brings calm dawn after night’s gray.

So weave your life with threads of light,

With honest word and vision bright.

For what is born of truth shall stand,

In peace of soul - forever grand.

O my soul,

Do not let your works and moments fade,

Do not turn your life into a self-made blade.

If your verses call, let poetry be born,

If colors whisper, paint the dawning morn.

If dreams invent, then dare to try,

Let thought take wings and learn to fly.

Whatever you love, pursue it-do try,

With honest heart and patience, fly.

But never harm, nor life destroy;

Let kindness be your lasting joy.

In silence work; let result and ego sleep,

For roots grow strong where waters deep.

If success delays, do not despair;

Time keeps accounts with loving care.

What fails today still holds its seed,

To bloom where future footsteps lead.

What time denies you here and now,

Another life shall grant it somehow.

(The Six Enemies of the Mind.)

Lust calls first, a fleeting flame,

Desires bloom yet end in shame.

Promises pleasure, endless chase,

But leaves the heart an empty space.

Then Anger strides, with fire in hand,

A tempest none can understand.

It blinds the mind, distorts the view,

Breaking bonds once pure and true.

Greed creeps close, with whispered lies,

More, it says, and never dies.

It fills the soul with endless need,

An aching void, a hollow greed.

Delusion drapes its veil so tight,

It twists the truth, obscures the light.

Wrapped in shadows of the mind,

Reality becomes confined.

Pride steps forth, a king in guise,

Raised above in haughty eyes.

Yet falls as swift as it ascends,

Leaving loss where once was friends.

And last, Envy, green and cold,

A jealous heart, a spirit sold.

It withers joy, it breeds disdain,

A bitterness that feeds on pain.

These six, the enemies we fight,

Hidden deep, yet plain in sight.

To conquer self, to rise above,

Is to embrace the path of love.

For when these shadows start to fade,

The spirit soars, no longer swayed.

The chains unbind, the heart set free

From six enemies of the mind, to tranquility.

From lust arises wrathful flame,

Delusion clouds the heart and aim.

Then greed and pride with envy blend,

Thus downward does the spirit descend.

From self-restraint springs peaceful bloom,

From righteousness flows humble grace,

And love uplifts the soul to its place.

Dreams that proof and reason bless

Shine with light and truth confess.

When bright the mind’s perception grows,

Its hidden truth in radiance shows.

But lacking proof, they fade away 

Mere shadows born of night and day.

So guard them well, and speak them not,

Lest falsehood spread and hearts be caught

And dream bears proof to light the way,

Then such a dream seems real and bright,

Its lived experience filled with sight.

But when no truth or proof is near,

Both fade like mists the clouds uprear;

Let falsehood die where darkness blinds.

(The Three Eyes of Judgment)

The Human Eye: Veil of Form

Men judge men first by robe and face,

By outer show, by borrowed grace.

A crown of gold, a cloak of silk,

A measured smile, a worldly milk-

These shadows dance, these masks deceive,

The inner flame they fail to perceive.

The Devata Eye: Scale of Karma

Devatas weigh each deed once done,

On karma’s scale, by truth begun.

No guise withstands their purging fire;

Each thought, each tie, each veiled desire

Is sifted clean, or cast away,

In duty’s forge where meanings stay.

The Supreme Eye: Soul’s Pure Flame

The Supreme sees no rank nor role,

But selfless work and the devoted soul.

Beyond the wheel of birth and breath,

He knows the knower beyond death-

Unselfish deeds and love divine,

The soul’s pure light that conquers time.

The Veda is the Sound‑Brahman near,

A mystic depth where truths appear.

None but the Lord that secret knows,

From whom all sacred echo flows.

Its wisdom vast, its rituals grand,

Fulfil one aim, divinely planned

To lead the soul, through thought and strife,

To oneness with the Source of life.

The Balance Within Every Deed

(Verse on the Duality of Karma)

In every deed that we pursue,

Two shadows walk-one dark, one light.

No act is born of perfect light,

Nor wholly lost in endless night.

Good may rise like morning air,

Bad may whisper unaware;

Yet what we choose to shape and feed

Decides the worth of every deed.

When good outweighs the darker part,

The act becomes a noble art;

But when the shadows claim their share,

The deed grows heavy with despair.

Thus weigh each step, each word, each might-

For good faith and virtue lie in choosing right.

Dharma - The Eternal Flame

Dharma is truth-eternal, vast,

Not bound to future, nor chained to past.

Universal law, serene and bright,

A deathless flame of guiding light.

Not for selfish gain declared,

Nor twisted words by ego snared;

It stands untouched by greed or claim,

Unmoved by praise, unhurt by blame.

Infinite, pure, forever the same,

Beyond all sect, beyond all name;

It lives where righteousness is done,

It shines alike on everyone.

Who guards Dharma with faithful heart,

And never from its path departs,

By that same Dharma is guarded still,

In storm, in sorrow, by higher will.

For Dharma is truth-eternal, wide,

The cosmic law none can divide;

He who in Dharma chooses to stand,

Is held secure by unseen hand.

All ask me, “Where have you learned?” 

I reply, “From all that I have seen-

From there my lessons I have learned.”

Lord Ram came, fulfilled his sacred duty; 

Lord Krishna came, acted just as truly.

Tell me, Without action, without duty,

How can my Dharma be earned truly?

In the Guise of Dharma

They explain Dharma in their own way,

To uplift their image and suit their way.

They trample Dharma’s eternal core,

Yet wear the garb that saints once wore;

With pious speech and crooked art,

They hide the poison in their heart.

They name their sins as “sacred will,”

And drag the Divine to bless their ill;

Before each crime, they falsely claim,

“God Himself ordained this game.”

Blinded by ignorance and ego, deaf to truth,

They chase the shadow, shun the proof;

What seems to them as heaven’s light,

Is but the veil of endless night.

Not righteous are these men, misled-

By pride and greed they all are led;

Their merit fades, their virtue dies,

As death and darkness slowly rise.

Thus heed this law, O wandering soul-

God dwells with truth, not untruth's dole.

Where Dharma breaks and falsehood reigns,

There sin and misery walk in chains.

Misguided in the Name of God

Those who violate eternal Dharma’s way,

Yet boast of righteousness night and day,

They cloak their sins in sacred dress,

And call their falsehood “godliness.”

In every wrongful deed they claim,

“The Lord Himself inspires our aim.”

They drag the Divine into their sin,

And think salvation lies therein.

Blinded by pride, they cannot see

How far they drift from truth's decree.

What they call light is deepest night,

What they call truth is void of sight.

No, they are not the righteous band-

They wander lost in desert sand.

Their fortune fades, their spirit falls,

For death and darkness softly calls.

They are not virtuous; not devoted to God.

They are misguided in the name of the Lord.

As One Sees, So God Appears

When God on earth in human form did stay,

Yet few could see His truth in mortal clay.

Some hearts awoke and knew His form divine,

And felt His presence radiant, pure, sublime.

By His own word, His glory stood revealed,

And faith in Him within their souls was sealed.

They bowed in love, their vision clear and bright,

And sensed His fragrance filled with sacred light.

But others saw a man of common birth,

And mocked His name, unaware of worth.

Their clouded minds, in ignorance confined,

Perceived no grace, no truth their hearts could find.

Thus lives this tale upon the earthly span-

God seen as God, or merely seen as man.

As is the heart, so is the sight we frame:

One finds the truth, another mocks the same.

Soul – Supreme Soul

In whom the knowledge of the Self abides,

He is, in truth, the Soul described.

In whom the highest wisdom dwells,

Him the seers name Supreme Soul.

In whom the light of Self-awareness shines,

Him the wise call gently-Soul divine.

In whom the boundless, highest wisdom flows,

Him the sages name: Supreme Soul that glows.

Father and mother are God’s first light,

Guiding the soul from birth to sight.

Son and daughter-sacred trust,

Seeds of love in time and dust.

Wife, a companion on Dharma’s way,

Walking beside through night and day.

Friends who mirror truth and flaw,

Teaching life by nature’s law.

Teachers stand as lamps of grace,

Dispelling dark, revealing space.

Each a tool the Divine has given,

Steps on the path from earth to heaven.

Use them with reverence, wisdom, care,

Not with pride, nor harsh despair.

He who honors these gifts as divine,

Walks closer to God-by Love’s design.

True Knowledge

God is Creator of all that is,

The source of life, of cosmic bliss.

God is Sustainer of all that lives,

A silent grace that ever gives.

God is the One where all streams end,

Beyond all forms and fleeting dreams.

To know this truth deep in the soul

Is true knowledge, makes one whole.

The Purity of True Knowledge

God said: no treasure shines so bright,

As knowledge pure, the soul’s true light.

When yogis pure in heart attain,

Truth is revealed by God again.

No flame so pure, no vision clear,

Dispels the night of doubt and fear.

It fills the heart with inner light,

A truth long veiled now comes to light.

Not gained by words nor fleeting art,

Nor born where restless passions start.

But in the depths of tranquil will,

It dawns when mind and breath are still.

One who walks the inward way,

Where mind and thought in silent purity stay.

In yoga deep, with spirit aligned,

Finds living truth within the mind.

When self and God no more divide,

And ego’s fleeting shadows slide,

Then knowledge pure begins to rise,

A living truth the soul realizes.

No outer proof is needed then,

Nor borrowed thoughts of other men.

For one who dwells in union true,

Sees all sustained by One, in sacred view.

Many spend their lives in reading lore,

Yet wisdom seldom reaches to the core.

Yet inner truth remains what few can know.

They chase the words in endless, streams,

 Lose themselves in borrowed dreams.

But borrowed light can never truly stay,

When life’s own trials darken every way.

One who walks through sorrow, loss, and pain,

Who falls, yet rises stronger through the strain,

Learns truths no written page can e’er convey,

And finds within a self-illumined way.

For wisdom lives not bound in ink or page,

Nor locked within the scholar’s gilded cage.

It blooms in hearts courageous, deep, and true,

Trials faced and life experienced through.

So read-but live the truths that you have known,

Let insight grow by seeds your life has sown.

For wisdom’s light begins to rise inside,

When life itself becomes your truest guide.

The Guru

Between the shore where deep darkness lies,

And Brahman’s boundless, starlit sky,

The Guru kindles the inward sight,

And leads the wandering soul to light.

From tamas to jyoti, step by step,

The Guru lifts the soul from slave;

Sadguru stands firm in inner light,

Awake in Brahman’s endless light,

The Yog Guru guides the seeking soul,

To meet the Supreme, its destined goal.

While Jagadguru, calm and wise,

Guides all the universe beneath the skies.

In silence bright, where truths unfold,

The Guru guides disciples to liberation bold.

The Guru guides, beyond liberation,

To merge with God—the culmination.

Sadguru = Guru who has realized Brahman.

The Yog Guru guides the souls how to meet

with the Supreme Soul through yoga.

Who Is the Guru?

Not by birth, nor robe, nor seat of pride,

Not by crowds that gather at his side,

None reveal the Guru, the guiding star.

The Vedas whisper, the Gita proclaims with might,

The Bhagavatam kindles the inner light:

Shsstra-jña- in scriptures deeply trained,

Yet lives the Truth his wisdom gained.

Tattva-darshi- seer of the Real,

Brahman realized - not thought, but living zeal;

Truth not borrowed from distant voice,

But soul-awakened, conscious choice.

Master of senses, tranquil, pure within,

Ego dissolved like mist grown thin;

Untouched by greed, by sin unbound,

In inner stillness, peace profound.

Compassion flows from moonlike eyes,

Cooling hearts where sorrow lies;

Steady in Brahman, firm, unmoved,

In silent Presence ever proved.

No ashram crowns, no garment makes the sage,

Where knowledge and realization unite and transform.

Do Not Kill in God’s Name

Do not unsheathe the sword in blasphemy’s name,

For blood cannot defend the Divine Flame.

The soul you judge was shaped by God’s own hand;

His fate rests only where His verdicts stand.

God is the Judge, the Witness, and the Throne,

The King of kings-His law alone is known.

He holds the power to punish or to spare;

No mortal hand may claim that sacred care.

He sees all hearts- the shadowed and the pure,

And heals the wounds no mortal hands can cure.

He may forgive, as one forgives a child,

Lost in his ways, unknowing, weak, and wild.

By mercy tried, a fallen soul may rise

To saintly calm where faith and truth abide.

So let not hate wear holiness as dress,

Let love, not death, proclaim true righteousness.

For God seeks not our rage, our sword, our fear;

He seeks the soul that kneels in love sincere.

The Soul’s Journey

O my soul, behold this wondrous stage,

Where God sends all to act their page.

In earthly play, through joy and strife,

We walk the fleeting path of life.

By His great veil of mystic art,

We lose the truth within the heart;

The One we knew in realms above

Seems distant in this world we love.

When first we step on mortal sand,

We argue what we fail to understand;

We praise, we blame, we seek to know,

Yet drift in illusion’s restless flow.

But when the final call draws near,

All masks fall off, all voices clear.

We leave behind both pride and shame,

And answer to the Lord who called our name.

For every debt of care and grace,

We must repay before we trace;

If dues remain-unpaid, unknown,

We shall return, reborn, alone.

So journey on, O soul divine,

Let truth within your spirit shine.

Remember Him in all you do,

And He will gently lead you through.

The Body and the Soul

The body serves as a vessel for the soul,

A matchless form of a wondrous, sacred whole.

The soul’s unique device, both pure and fine,

A finely tuned instrument made by the divine.

Where sense and soul subtly intertwine,

Yet when its motion fades, the end is thine.

The soul departs; life’s breath begins to cease,

So guard this frame; let harmony not cease.

That soul may work and clear its destined way,

Together bound in mutual duty’s sway.

Attend to both with care, the seen and unseen,

The breath and prayer, in harmony combined.

For only through their shared and sacred game

Does life ascend, fulfilled in a higher, noble aim.

The Body and the Soul

When the house is worn, unfit to stay,

Its dwellers leave and go away.

So when the body fails its role,

The Self departs-the deathless soul.

When walls are cracked, beyond repair,

The house dissolves in dust and air.

So too the living body, weak or old,

Returns to dust, since it cannot hold.

No hand can shape that form again,

No life returns to mortal frame.

This is the truth the Divine declares-

The Eternal Law that all life shares;

Nothing beyond this stands as right,

All else is shadow, veiled from sight.

Supreme Soul- Soul- Peace

As one who roams from home to distant lands,

Finds peace the moment he returns and stands

Within the shelter where his heart belongs,

Where end all weariness and wandering wrongs-

So too the soul, long lost on paths untold,

Through deeds and duties, joys and griefs of old,

Finds perfect rest, when freed from earthly lease,

It enters God’s own home - the realm of peace.

The soul must act, must walk the path of right,

In God’s own place, fulfill its work in Dharma’s light;

Yet when united, merged within His vast embrace,

The soul attains supreme, eternal, wordless peace.

If one beholds one’s faults within,

And strives to cleanse each trace of sin,

With steadfast will and vision true,

All inner storms fade from view.

If society can see its flaws,

And strives to mend its broken laws,

With mindful steps and purpose wise,

Its heavy chains dissolve and die.

If every country knows its flaws,

And walks the path of righteous laws,

Through self-correction, firm and wise,

A nation’s countless troubles die.

If nations see their shadowed ways,

And walk the path of righteous ways,

Through self-correction, pure and kind,

The world’s deep wounds are healed in time.

वेदमार्गो दर्शयति सनातनधर्मस्य साम्यदृष्टिम्।

ज्ञानकर्मभक्तिसंयुक्ता या तत्त्वैकस्य साधनम्॥

वेदाः प्रबोधयन्ति परमानात्मनः सत्यरूपम्।

आत्मनः परं तदैक्यं च बोधयन्ति साक्षात्कारम्॥

गीता निःस्वार्थकर्मस्य विधिं मोक्षदायिनीं दर्शयति।

यया पुरुषस्य मोहितस्य बन्धनमुक्तिः सिध्यति॥

श्रीमद्भागवते दिव्यप्रेम्णः सौन्दर्यं हृदयं विशुद्धयति।

यया निष्कामकर्मधर्मविधिं मोक्षदायिनीं दर्शयति।

सा दर्शयति सम्यक् पूजां, न केवलं क्रियायाम्,

किन्तु निःस्वार्थकर्मभक्त्योः ऐक्ये परं ब्रह्मदर्शनम्॥

ग्रहणतत्त्वविवेचनम्

छायया छन्नः सूर्यो यथा शास्त्रे प्रकीर्तितः ।

न तत्र क्रियाविधिर्दृष्टो ग्रहणे कर्मणां क्वचित् ॥

न भगवद्गीता-शास्त्रे ग्रहणस्य विशेषो विधिरुच्यते ।

प्रकृतेर्गुणचक्रेऽयं भावो ज्ञेयः समाहितैः ॥

स्नानं जपो दानकर्म मन्त्रौच्चारादिकं तथा ।

न वेद-गीतोक्त-आज्ञास्तु स्मार्ताचारप्रवर्तिताः ॥

समत्वबुद्ध्या कर्तव्यं न भयेन कदाचन ।

प्रकृत्याः क्रियमाणोऽयं नियमो दैवसंश्रितः ॥

रोगव्याधिः सनातनधर्मः

शृणुत भक्तगणाः एतद्वचनम्-

सनातनधर्मे रोगकाले वैद्याश्रयणमेव उत्तमं स्मृतम्।

स्वयमेव श्रीरामेण लक्ष्मणस्य चिकित्सार्थं वैद्यसमाह्वानम्।

एष एव सनातनपरम्परायाः वास्तविकः सत्यनियमः॥

सन्तोषः परमं सुखं सुषुप्तिर्निद्रा परं सुखम्।

ज्ञानयोगो बोधयति जगत्संसारस्य च ईश्वरस्य च मर्म।

कर्मयोगोऽस्मान् शिक्षयति कर्तुं निष्कामकर्म।

भक्तियोगोऽस्मान् शिक्षयति कर्तुं निष्कामधर्मम्।

एतेषां त्रयाणां योगानां एष एव मूलसारो च मर्म।

आत्मसंयमोऽत्र मुख्यो, योगस्य परमः सारः।

चित्तवृत्तिनिरोधो हि योगः; मायामोहोऽयं संसारस्य सारः।

यत्रात्मैव प्रकाशते, तत्र शान्तिः परमानन्दोऽप्यपारः॥

जीवेश्वरतत्त्ववर्णनम् 

जीवो हि देवांशकलाऽतिसूक्ष्मः,

दीपांशुवद् दिव्यस्वरूपभूतः।

ईशप्रकाशप्रतिबिम्बभावात्,

तत्सदृशोऽन्तः प्रतिभाति नित्यम्॥

ईशस्तु पूर्णोऽनवधिः स्वभावात्,

ज्ञानैश्वर्यबलानन्दनिधिः साक्षात्।

जीवे तु तान्यल्पपरिमितानि,

मात्रावशात् स्वल्पतया स्थितानि॥

ईशेन सृष्टं सकलं जगदेतत्,

लीलामयं विश्वविधानहेतुः।

जीवस्तु तस्मिन् नियतं निविष्टः,

कर्मप्रबन्धे परिवर्ततेऽसौ॥

ईशः स्वभावात् सकलं हि वेत्ति,

स्वं च जगच्चैव यथार्थरूपम्।

जीवस्तु मोहावरणेन बद्धः,

स्वात्मानमेव न वेत्ति सम्यक्॥ 

अविद्यया बद्ध इहैव जीवः,

संसारपाशैः परितो निवेशितः।

ईशस्तु नित्यं विमलस्वरूपः,

नित्यमुक्तः स्वयमेव दीप्तः॥ 

यदा तु जीवः हृदि ज्ञानदीपं

गुरुप्रसादात् स्फुरयत्यनल्पम्।

तदा स पश्यति भगवद्विभूतिं,

स्वभिन्नभावेऽपि तदीयमंशम्॥

नैक्यं परं नापि च भेदपूर्णं,

सख्यं तयोः शाश्वतलीलयैव।

ईशः स नाथः करुणानिधानः,

जीवस्तु तस्मिन् सदा शरणागतः॥

जगत्-संसार

जगत् सत्यं नित्यं च,तस्य परिवर्तनम् ईश्वराधीनम्।

संसारोऽपि दिव्यात्मकः मायाबद्धः सदा क्षणम्॥

स्वकर्मकामनाः सर्वाः दोषिण्यः नित्यमशुद्धम्।

निष्कामकर्म योग्यं तु शुद्धतमं परं स्मृतम्॥

जीवः कर्मार्थधर्मैश्च गृह्णात्यनेकम् ऋणं सततम्।

अन्ते तस्य परिशोधनं कर्तव्यं ज्ञात्वा कुरु कार्यम्॥

भवसागरपारतत्त्वम्

अन्तर्मुख आत्मज्ञानी अतिप्रयोजनम्।

बहिर्मुखता च आसक्तिश्च नित्यम् वर्जनीयम्।

आत्मशुद्धिनिष्कामभक्तिः सह आपेक्ष्यम्।

एतत् सनातनधर्मैकं भवसागरपारतत्त्वम्।

मायां मोहं दुःखं हरति ईश्वरतत्त्वम्।

(मुक्तछन्दः)

चिकित्सकः न निवारयितुं शक्नोति मायां मोहं च दुःखम्।

केवलम् ईश्वरतत्त्वं निवारयितुं शक्नोति मायां मोहं च दुःखम्॥

केवलम् एतत् ईश्वरतत्त्वं संसारस्य एकमात्रं परमं सत्यम्।

यः जानाति एतत् ईश्वरतत्त्वं सः जानाति संसारस्य सत्यम्॥

यः जानाति संसारसत्यं स पश्यति निजानन्दरूपम्॥

ईश्वर-ईश्वरदूतसङ्गसन्निध्यम्।

अल्पायुषि जगद्यात्रायां,मित्रं कश्चिद् भवेद् नरः।

अन्ये दीपशिखावत् स्युः,क्षणेनैव भवन्ति परः॥ 

अजानन्नपि मार्गार्थं,चेतः कम्पितमानसम्।

स्वकर्मणि प्रवर्तामः,न ज्ञातं भाग्यलिखितं समम्॥ 

यदा तत्त्वप्रकाशोऽन्तः,शङ्काच्छायाः प्रधूयते।

तदा प्रसादः शान्त्याख्यः,हृदि पूर्णत्वम् उदयते॥

देवदूताः हिते नित्यं,विदन्ति ध्येयसंस्थितिम्।

तेषां कृपा सुहृत्त्वं च,तमोऽपि नाशयति धृतिम्॥ 

तस्माद् देवेन सह चर,विश्वासं पालय दृढम्।

यः तिष्ठति हरौ नित्यं,स लभेत शाश्वतं सुखम्॥

ईश्वरान्वेषणात् निवृत्तिः

(हृदयस्थ ईश्वरः)

किमर्थमहम् भगवन्तं यत्रतत्रान्वेषयामि?

स एव हृदये मम विराजते महिमास्वामी॥

अन्तर्बहिश्च व्याप्नोति ज्योतिरूपो दयानिधिः

शान्तिमार्गे नयत्येव साक्षी सदा करुणानिधिः॥

मन शुद्ध करें, ईश्वर हृदय में ही मिल जाएंगे।

सत्यधर्मः

न पूजया न यज्ञेन न व्रतेन न शोभया।

धर्मो हृदि जागर्ति करुणादीपशोभया॥

दिवानिशं जनाः कुर्वन् विधिवत् पूजनक्रमम्।

यद्यन्तरे दहत्येव द्वेषाग्निर्हृदि दुर्मतम्॥

परान् हिंसन्ति ये लोका धर्मनाम्ना विवर्जिताः।

स्त्रीयाः सम्माननं त्यक्त्वा ते भवन्त्यधर्मचर्यकाः॥

यत्र दैन्यं न दया च न समत्वं न मानवम्।

तत्र धर्मो न वसति केवलं तमोघनम्॥

अहिंसा सत्य तपः शौचं दया समता च धार्यते।

यत्रैते षट्दीपाः तत्र धर्मः प्रतिष्ठिते॥

धर्मो नाट्यविनोदं न वृथा श्लोकगर्जितम्।

धर्मो हृदयसंवेदो दिव्यस्यान्तरदीपकम्॥

सत्यतत्त्वं परं सत्यम्।

वेदः सत्यं, वेदान्तः सत्यः, सत्यमेव प्रामाणिकं शास्त्रम्।

सत्ये प्रतिष्ठिताः सर्वे प्रामाणिकग्रन्थाः,सनातनं धर्मतत्त्वं सत्यम्।

परन्तु सर्वातीतं परं सत्यम्-अनाद्यनन्तं परमं ब्रह्मतत्त्वम्॥

धर्मफलन्यायनीतिः

यत् धर्मः तत् फलम्-एषा श्रेष्ठा नीति:।

अधिकफलाभिलाष एव महादुर्नीति:।

यथाकर्म तथाफलं, तस्माद्भोगः प्रजायते।

भुक्ते फले क्षये जाते, सर्वं शून्यं प्रपद्यते॥

यदा निर्गच्छत्यात्मा देहात् न कश्चिद् वेद तदा।

न कम्पः नापि चिह्नः स्यात् शान्ते देहे स्थिते सदा॥

निशब्दं याति दूरं स यत्र प्राणो न गच्छति।

अदृष्टोऽज्ञातमार्गेण मृत्यु-पन्थानमृच्छति॥

पुनर्यदा प्रविशत्येष देहं मृत्तिकामयं पुनः।

तदा वेदना समुत्पन्ना चेतना जायते निश्चितः॥

स्पन्दते जागरूकं देहं जीवनं स्वं प्रपद्यते।

वेदना सूचयत्येव आत्मनः सन्निधिं ध्रुवम्॥

अतः मूढमिदं मनो न सर्वं सत्यमीक्षते।

स्वप्नमायाविलासेन भ्रान्तिमेव प्रसूयते॥

विवेकेन विचिन्त्यैतत् सत्यं मिथ्यां च भेदय।

क्षणभङ्गुरेऽस्मिन् लोके आत्मयात्रां निरीक्षय॥

देहः आत्मनः

शरीरम् एकम् अद्वितीयम् अनुपमं यन्त्रम्

यस्य अनुरक्षणपोषणम् एकमेव मन्त्रः।

एतदचले सति आत्मा करोति एतस्य वर्जनम्।

तस्मात् शरीरात्मनोः उभयोः ध्यानम् आवश्यकम्।

श्रीकृष्णध्यानतत्त्वम्

(मुक्तछन्दः)

कं ध्यायेत् स परं तत्त्वं, यतः सूर्यचन्द्रमसौ।

नास्त्यन्यत्तत्त्वमुत्तुङ्गं, स्वात्मन्येव स संस्थितः॥

नास्त्यन्यो देवो ध्येयः, नान्यत् किञ्चित् परायणम्।

सर्वकारणभूतात्मा, स्वनाम्न्येव विलीयते॥

यथा गीता शास्त्रवरे, आत्मैव सन्निहितः सदा।

तथा भागवतेऽप्युक्तं, स्वात्मन्येवावतिष्ठते॥

निर्गुणं ब्रह्म यत् प्रोक्तं, तदेव स्वप्रकाशकम्।

नान्यत्तत्त्वं न भेदोऽस्ति, स एवैकः हरिः सत्यम्॥

ये तु भिन्नं परं मन्यन्ते, मोहिता अज्ञानवृत्तयः।

न जानन्ति शास्त्रार्थं, नापि बुध्यन्ते तत्त्वसारम्॥

आत्मा-परमात्मा-शान्तिः। 

यथा गृहजीवो भ्रमित्वा स्वगृहं प्रत्यागत्य शान्तिमाप्नोति।

तथैवात्मा परमात्मगृहं प्रत्यागत्य परां शान्तिमवाप्नोति॥

अत्रापि आत्मा स्वं कर्तव्यं कर्म धर्मं आचरितुम् अर्हति।

परन्तु परमात्मनि समाहिते आत्मनः अनन्त शान्तिमाप्नोति।

शास्त्रस्य मुख्यं उद्देश्यं।

शास्त्रेषु ये संस्काराः नियमाश्च सदा स्मृताः।

तेषामेव परो हेतुः मनसः शुद्धता स्मृताः॥

पञ्चेन्द्रियाणि संयम्य षड्रिपूणां निग्रहः।

एतदेव हि सर्वेषां शास्त्राणां परमो ग्रहः॥

अहङ्कारक्षयः- सत्योदयः

 (विवादनिर्वृत्तिमार्गः)

अहं सदा सम्यगस्मीति वदति मम चेतनम्,

अन्ये सदा तमोलीना इति पश्यामि मानसम्।

अस्वीकारः पिधत्त्येव सत्यद्वारं ममोपरि,

अहङ्कारः दृढः पाशः बध्नाति मां निरन्तरि॥

अहङ्कारदुर्गे उन्नते तिष्ठामि गर्वभूषणः,

सर्वप्रकाशं त्यजाम्येव मूढबुद्धि–विभूषणः।

कृपा तु भिनत्ति गर्वस्य कठोरं बन्धनं ध्रुवम्,

विनयेन द्रवते चेतः शिलावत् जायते मधुरम्॥

विनम्रदृष्ट्या विश्वं पश्यामि समतां श्रयन्,

समर्पणेन हृदयं याति काञ्चनतां पुनः श्रयन्।

गच्छतु गर्वः, करुणा उदेति सर्वबन्धनी,

एकत्वे विनये सत्ये शान्तिर्जायते सनातनी॥

सर्वहृदि वसतं दिव्यं तत्त्वं प्रेम्णा वयं विद्महे,

निःस्वार्थस्नेहयोगेन एकात्मभावं च गच्छ्महे।

अहङ्कारात् परे शुद्धः आत्मा नित्यः प्रकाशते,

साधकः तत्र विलीयेत, केवलं ब्रह्म प्रकाशते॥

शृणुत भक्तगण एतद् वचनम् -

अप्रमाणिकग्रन्थान् मा पठ कदाचन।

एतेषु सर्वेषु ग्रन्थेषु विद्यतेऽज्ञानता;

तस्य प्रसारे नश्यति धर्मस्य शुद्धता।

अनन्तो हरिः, अनन्ता हरिकथा,

अनन्तानि शास्त्राणि॥

अनन्तो हरिरव्यक्तो लीलाश्चास्यानन्ताः।

शास्त्राण्यप्यनन्तानि कथाश्चास्यानन्ताः॥ 

अनन्तोऽस्य गुणो दिव्यो नास्ति तस्य परिसीमना।

न कश्चिज्जानाति पूर्णं तस्य दिव्यं चरितं नरजनाः॥

नादिर्न चान्तो यस्य प्रभोर्नित्यविभूतिषु।

अनन्तेऽस्मिन् हरेः कीर्तिः प्रवहत्येव मे चेतसि॥

निष्कामकर्मणा नित्यं निष्कामधर्मपालनात्।

लभ्यते स हरिः साक्षान्निष्कामभावनात्॥

जीवनपाठक्रमः

ये नैव जानन्ति गतिगतिमिमां पूर्वजन्मान्तरे।

जीवन्निह तेषु ते विदधते पाठक्रमं केवलम्॥

ये तत्त्वं विदितं पुनर्जनिमरणं ज्ञात्वा भवन्ति प्राज्ञाः।

तेऽध्यायन्ति यथार्थमात्मविवेकं धर्मो हि सर्वस्य पाठः॥

न कलिः राक्षसो नापि नासुरः सत्ये कथ्यते।

यदा धर्मरक्षकः भगवान् तिरोभवति, न भयं विद्यते॥

तदा ब्रह्मासृष्टेषु भूतेषु स्वेच्छाचारो दुराचारः प्रवर्तन्ते।

भ्रष्टाचार-दुराचार-धर्मग्लानिः सा कलिः कथ्यते॥

सात्त्विकं अन्नं गृहाण, सत्यं धारय, सत्त्वं धारय।

निष्कामं कर्म नित्यं आचर, सर्वं कर्म हरये अर्पय।

भ्रष्टाचार-स्वेच्छाचारं दुराचार-धर्मग्लानिं न धारय।

सदाचारं संयमाचारं सुचरितं धर्मपालनं संवर्धय।

धर्मं सर्वदा मनसि धारय, हरिं सर्वदा सञ्चिन्तय।

स्वं परिवारं प्रेम कारय, तस्मिन् प्रेम्णि विस्तारय।

एतस्मिन् प्रेम्णि कलिः नश्यति, सत्यधर्मः प्रकाशते।

सदैव धर्मप्रेमस्नेहयुक्तं चित्तं धर्मपथे प्रवर्तते॥

रचनाकारस्य ज्ञानोदयः

रचनाकारस्य प्रथमारचने प्रादुर्भवति तस्य प्रारम्भिकं ज्ञानम्।

रचनाकारस्य प्रत्येकरचने वर्धते तस्य शुद्धं ज्ञानम्।

एवं शनैः शनैर् रचनाकारस्य ज्ञानं भवति सुদर्शनम्।

रचनाकारस्य अन्तिमरचने प्रकटते तस्य श्रेष्ठं ज्ञानम्।

धर्मो यत्र विभ्रान्तः, तत्र हिंसा प्रवर्तते।

धर्मो यत्र निर्व्रान्तः, तत्र शान्तिः प्रतिष्ठिता॥

"मानसिक अनुभूति प्रायः स्वप्नसदृश्य मानी जाती है।"

That science alone fulfills life’s dream.

He mocks all faith and calls the unseen small,

Declaring human wisdom the ruler of all.

But the wise inventor humbly understands

That truth is not forged by mortal hands.

We strive, we toil, we seek, and explore-

Yet God alone grants the fruits we adore.

Do Not Cry on Death

O soul, do not weep at anyone’s death,

For birth and death share a single breath.

One has laid this body aside like attire,

For the voyage of being will not expire.

He shall be reborn on this very sphere,

In another form, maybe in another year.

One who was once so near and dear,

May become your foe, if destiny steers.

A different name, or perhaps the same,

A different tongue, or familiar frame;

A different path his feet may tread,

Or walk again where once he led.

So, O soul, sink not in sorrow deep,

For death is a door-no eternal sleep.

Remain tranquil, wakeful, aware;

Do what is right, sincere and fair.

And step by step, your soul secure,

You shall arrive where all is pure.

Dear devotee, do not despair,

The Lord is near, His grace is there.

Though trials rise and shadows fall,

His unseen hand sustains through all.

In sorrow’s night when tears may flow,

And winds of hardship fiercely blow,

Be calm in heart, be firm, be strong-

Your pain will not endure for long.

Each struggle shapes the soul within,

And purifies from fear and sin.

No tear is lost, no prayer unheard,

Each sigh is known unto the Lord.

Walk on with faith through every story,

Beyond the dust awaits true glory.

Your final chapter, bright and free,

Will end in bliss eternally.

Deathless Soul's Eternal Flight

Death is not life's final breath,

Nor truth confined to final breath.

To deem it end is vision dim,

A thought by ignorance grown grim.

When mortal frame to dust returns,

The deathless soul still onward burns.

Through unseen doors it takes its flight,

To destined paths of hidden light.

From birth to birth its course is spun,

As sets the moon and wakes the sun.

In varied forms it learns and strives,

By law eternal, lives again arise.

This truth eternal dharma proclaims,

In sacred light it stands the same.

Who grasp this wisdom, firm and clear,

Transcend all grief, outgrow all fear.

But those who see no life beyond,

To fleeting forms grow deeply fond.

Thus sorrow binds their hearts in pain,

Till knowledge breaks illusion's chain.

Death is not the final call,

It is but change that comes to all.

The body rests, returns to earth,

The soul moves on to its rebirth.

It sheds the weight of mortal clay,

And walks in light, a subtler way.

It sees, it hears, it feels, it speaks,

Though earthly ears hear not its reach.

In that bright realm each soul will show,

Its true nature, and its inner glow.

By what it did, by how it strived,

It shapes the path of future lives.

We all know life before our death,

This is the truth of life past death.

 Breaking the Wheel of Six Enemies

Six silent foes within me rise

Desire that tempts with shining lies,

Anger burning with crimson flame,

Greed that softly calls my name.

Ego shouts, “I, me, mine,”

Attachment makes the soul entwine,

Jealousy clouds the heart

Together weaving Māyā’s art.

I lose myself in their deceit,

Forget the God beneath my feet.

Forget my Self, forget my aim,

And play again this worldly game.

I work in haste, I fight, I fall,

I bind myself with actions all.

When death arrives, I go once more

Through birth’s unending, tireless door.

Each life I wake with empty hand,

And think this world is mine to stand,

Yet walk the path I walked before

And reap the pain of deeds I swore.

O Lord who dwells in every heart,

Tear apart this illusive art!

Destroy these foes, their grip remove,

Awaken me in Light and Love.

Grant me the strength to know Thy name,

And never walk this path of shame.

Let this be birth, O Lord, the last

That I may merge with Thee at last.

Chains of Desire.

Desire never ends in mortal span,

It burns within the heart of man.

From birth to death its fire remains,

Binding souls in unseen chains.

Even in death it whispers near,

A subtle call the spirit hears.

It plants new seeds in karmic ground,

And draws us back to life unbound.

No wealth, no power, nor fleeting fame,

Can quench its thirst or still its flame.

It lures, deceives, and keeps us tied,

A restless wave, a ceaseless tide.

But one who turns to truth within,

And severs craving, root of sin,

Breaks the wheel of birth and breath,

And finds the peace beyond all death.

The Fall of Pride, the Rise of Truth 

(Path to Resolving Disputes)

I think that I am always right,

While others dwell in endless night.

Non-acceptance seals my view-

Proud arrogance I cannot undo.

It bars the truth from reaching me,

Rejects the wisdom I might see.

In ego’s fortress, proud and tall,

I turn away from light for all.

Yet grace can break this cruel control,

And melt the hardness of the soul.

When humble eyes the world behold,

Surrender turns the heart to gold.

Let pride depart, let compassion rise-

In unity, humility, truth and peace shall rise.

The Divine within all hearts we find,

In selfless love, one soul, one mind.

Beyond the “I” the boundless Self is seen,

All hearts as one in love and truth convene.

The seeker fades, the sacred light prevails-

Where Dharma leads, no fear, no darkness dwells.

A Warning Against the Wicked

Better an empty cattle-shed,

Than a cow of vicious breed;

Better utter loss endure,

Than the company impure.

From the sinful, tainted mind,

Not a spark of good we find;

Thus, even absence stands more blessed,

Than evil closely held and pressed.

As none would keep within their hall

A serpent venomous that crawls,

So wise ones ever choose to part

From cruel soul and hardened heart.

Keep far from those of wicked way-

Thus walks the wise in Dharma’s ray.

Knowing the Heart of Man

(The Measure of a Man)

In society’s wisdom, passed through time,

We find simple truths in thoughtful rhyme.

To know a person, wise and true,

Observe their words and actions too.

The ideal mind seeks thoughts that rise,

In noble dreams and visions wise.

They speak of truth, of higher aim,

And light within a virtuous flame.

The good will speak of deeds that aid,

Of paths where helping hands are laid.

Their words bring comfort, calm, and cheer,

And guide the lost with vision clear.

The lesser mind in faults will stay,

In others’ flaws they lose their way.

In constant blame their thoughts reside,

With restless tongue and wounded pride.

A person’s worth is clearly shown,

By how they treat the weak, unknown.

The ones beneath, the poor, the small,

Reveal the truth that governs all.

In nature’s care and kindness shown,

Their inner seeds are truly known.

To those in pain or deep distress,

Their acts reveal their tenderness.

A man is judged by friends he keeps,

And righteousness he accepts or leaves.

For company shapes the heart and mind,

And leaves its silent mark behind.

The face reflects the hidden soul,

Its fleeting signs reveal the whole.

In eyes and gestures softly cast,

The inner thoughts are seen at last.

A good man walks with gentle grace,

With compassion shining in his face.

He helps in times of grief and need,

With selfless heart in word and deed.

With due respect to all he gives,

In humble truth he always lives.

To elders, peers, and those below,

His reverence continues to grow.

His mind is calm, his senses still,

He governs anger by his will.

No envy clouds his steady sight,

He walks the path of inner light.

In truth he stands, in honesty clear,

With faithful heart and conscience dear.

No falsehood stains his spoken word,

His voice with purity is heard.

No pride resides within his way,

In modest strength he moves each day.

His virtues shine, yet softly stay,

Like stars that glow without display.

With sincere heart and purpose bright,

He walks in truth, in silent light.

His words and deeds in union stand,

A noble soul in every land.

Man:

A Peculiar Creation of God

Man is a peculiar creation of God,

Standing between the saint and the fraud.

When he walks with angels, near the Divine,

His heart grows pure, his soul starts to shine.

He acts as a devotee, gentle and true,

In virtue he lives, in compassion he grew.

He loves all beings as God’s own art,

Seeing the Creator in every heart.

But when he draws near demons of the mind,

And turns from God, leaving truth behind,

He acts like a monster, cruel and cold,

Forgetting the light his soul once held.

Humanity fades, mercy departs from hearts,

Creation is wounded by merciless works and arts.

Thus man stands free, yet shaped by his choice

To follow the light, or the darkness’ voice.

The Meditation of Lord Krishna

Who shall He worship-He, the One,

From whom arise the moon and sun?

No higher truth exists above

He dwells within His Self in love.

He seeks no distant deity,

Nor needs a refuge, none but He;

The source of all, the primal flame,

He rests absorbed in His own Name.

As taught in Bhagavad Gita, clear,

He, the supreme soul, near and dear.

And in Srimad Bhagavatam we see,

He, the Lord-he is the master key.

The formless Brahman, vast, supreme,

Is but His own eternal gleam;

No second truth, no separate key,

He is the one reality.

But those who seek some truth apart

Still wander far from wisdom’s heart;

Not knowing Him nor Shastra’s core,

They miss the One forevermore.

In silent night the yogi abides,

His trembling breath in stillness subsides.

The restless mind no longer strays,

In meditation’s glow, the spirit prays.

Slow fades the “I”; the boundary dies,

In deepened trance the spirit flies;

Worldly chains are gently torn,

A higher life within is born.

III

Now upward moves the living soul,

Beyond the sky, beyond the whole;

Through subtle realms the seeker sees

The shadowed glow of shadow-energy.

IV

Then breaks the dawn of radiant might,

Pure light floods with endless light;

All limits melt, all bindings flee-

Unresisted reigns in eternity.

V

No wall remains, no veil, no fear,

The devotee draws the Divine near;

In voiceless depth the soul is free-

At last it meets the supreme Reality.

Earth: Virtuous and Sinners

I

Sinners do not wish to leave this earth;

Again and yet again they crave rebirth.

They cling to trembling, transient, mortal sod,

In secret dread to meet the face of God.

They bind their souls to dust and fleeting clay,

And shudder at the hour they slip away.

II

But virtuous hearts, serene and ever free,

Grow weary of this veil of mortality.

They yearn to cross the silent, boundless shore,

Where birth and sorrow haunt the soul no more.

III

Yet if the righteous leave this world too soon,

If sacred lamps expire before high noon,

This earth would sink in shadow’s somber spell-

A radiant realm that darkens into hell.

No temple chants, no consecrated bell,

No holy truths the ancient scriptures tell.

When faith grows faint and prayers turn cold as stone,

Who walks the path the saints have clearly shown?

IV

So let the pure a little longer stay,

To teach, to guide, to bless, to light the way.

For while one virtuous soul on earth abides,

The living light of Dharma still presides.

Avoid Excess in All Things

(The Discipline of Moderation)

Excess of wealth can blind the sight,

It dims the soul that seeks the light.

Too much of beauty breeds vain pride,

And turns the heart from truth aside.

Excess of health may lead to boast,

Till wisdom’s humble voice is lost.

Too much of food makes dull the mind,

And chains the soul we seek to find.

So walk the path where balance stays,

In measured nights and measured days.

For virtue lives where limits blend-

In all things, let the mean be friend.

For truth stands firm, the sages said:

Excess must everywhere be shed.

Let Tu Rest, Speak Tum

In Vedic hymns where sacred fires rise true,

The word “tu” stands as contrast, never “you.”

In Puraṇic streams and ancient seers’ domain,

It means but “however,” not a person’s name.

No scripture speaks of “tu” as one addressed,

For “tvam” alone the speaker’s call expressed.

In Gita’s call and mantra’s shining flame,

“Tvam” speaks to “you”-eternal, still the same.

Through passing years as spoken tongues grew mild,

Consonant clusters softened, gently styled.

From “tvam” to “tum,” the form grew soft and free,

Yet meaning stayed- the same identity.

So let the Vedas keep their accents pure,

And living speech its gentle change endure.

For words may shift as ages onward run,

But truth within their heart remains as one.

Therefore let “tu” rest, with no scriptural claim,

And speak with “tum,” from “tvam” it came.

स महापापभाग् भवेत्, परजन्मनि प्राप्नोति दुःखयन्त्रणाम्॥

धर्मावरणेन यः करोति वा कारयति अधर्मम्।  

न स भक्तो न च साधुः, स कालनेमिसमः स्मृतः॥

गृहदेवालयनियमः  

सम्पूर्णे गृहे विधिना गृहप्रवेशः शुभप्रदः ।  

असम्पूर्णे न कर्तव्यो कर्मारम्भः कदाचन ॥

  

वास्तुशास्त्रोक्तमुहूर्तं लोकाचारैश्च सम्मतम् ।  

एष सनातनः धर्मः लोकाचारेषु वर्णितः ॥ 

 

सम्पूर्णे देवमन्दिरे देवप्रतिष्ठा विधीयते ।  

नासम्पूर्णे न कार्या प्राणप्रतिष्ठा कदाचन ॥ 

 

देवस्थानस्य सिद्धौ तु सर्वकर्म समाचरेत् ।  

एष नित्यः सनातनधर्मस्य नियमः स्मृतः ॥ 

 

वेदः स्मृतिः सदाचारः स्वस्य च प्रियमात्मनः ।  

एतत् चतुर्विधं प्राहुः साक्षाद् धर्मस्य लक्षणम् ॥

ध्वजारोहणकर्मैतत् सनातनधर्मसंमतम् ।

संस्थापिते च देवेशे नारोहेद् देवमन्दिरम् ।

न सञ्चरेत्ततो भक्तः श्रद्धाभक्तिसमन्वितः ॥

कर्मार्थे यदि गन्तव्यं बहिर्नीत्वा विग्रहम् ।

शुद्धिं कृत्वा विधानेन पुनः स्थापयेत् विग्रहम् ॥

एष धर्मः परो ज्ञेयः शास्त्रसम्मतसंस्थितः ।

मर्यादारक्षणार्थाय सर्वलोकहितस्थितः ॥

पीठनिर्माणसिद्धिः

(पीठनिर्माणविधिः)

शास्त्राधारे पवित्रे भूमौ विधिपूर्वं प्रतिष्ठितम् ।

अधिकारिगुरुणा सार्धं परम्परया सुपोषितम् ॥ 

नित्यआराधनसंयुक्तं सदाचारसमन्वितम् ।

लोकसंग्रहकार्येण शिष्यपरम्परान्वितम् ॥ 

न केवलं क्रियामात्रात् पीठं सिद्धिमवाप्नुयात् ।

तपोधर्मसमायुक्तं सत्येनैव विराजयेत् ॥

एकत्वं दैवतत्त्वस्य

(एकत्वभावः)

नानानाम्ना स एकः, नानामार्गैः स एव हि।

सर्वेषां पथिकानां सः, एकं लक्ष्यं सनातनम्॥ 

कृष्णवेणुनिनादेन विश्वगीतं प्रवर्तते।

अल्लाहस्य इच्छया सर्वं सृष्टिचक्रं प्रवर्तते॥

कृष्णे प्रेम च लीला च, दिव्यभावः प्रकाशते।

ईश्वरे सत्यकृपा च, हृदि नित्यं विराजते॥

नानाभाषासु भेदोऽस्ति, तत्त्वं तु न भिद्यते।

एकं नित्यं सनातनं, नानानाम्ना प्रकीर्त्यते॥

बलभद्रः बलज्ञानैः, मार्गदर्शी सदा स्थितः।

अज्ञानात् पारमागतान् जनान् नयति सत्पन्थाम्॥

ईशुपुत्रे त्यागदृष्ट्या प्रेमकारुण्यदर्शनम्।

दर्शयति सदा लोके विनयस्य महात्म्यम्॥ 

नानामार्गाः समायान्ति, लक्ष्यं तु एकमेव हि।

यथा सूर्यकिरणाः सर्वे, एकस्मात् उद्भवन्ति हि॥

मा कुरुत भेददृष्टिं, मा कुरुत अज्ञानवृत्तिम्।

सर्वे यान्ति परं ज्योतिः, एकमेव सनातनम्॥

यः शास्त्रवाक्यैः जानाति परमं देवं श्रीजनार्दनम्।

न स्पृहा न च द्वेषः, तस्य बुद्धिः स्थिरा सदा ॥

सुखदुःखे समे कृत्वा, न चलति मनः सदा ।

समदर्शी स विज्ञेयः, धीरः शांतः स एव सदा ॥

कर्मण्येवाधिकारोऽस्ति, फले नास्ति कदाचन ।

इति ज्ञात्वा स्थितो यः स्यात्, लभते शान्तिमुत्तमाम् ॥

ज्ञान-वैराग्य-भक्ति-समभाव-संगमः

यः ज्ञानं धारयति नित्यं,वैराग्यं च मनसि स्थिरम्।

 पापिनं पालनं लोके निश्चयं पापमुच्यते।

 अधर्मप्रोत्साहनं तु घोरं पापं प्रचक्षते॥

यः साष्टाङ्गं प्रणमति भक्त्या विनयान्वितः ।

तस्मै दातव्यमाशीर्वादं हृदयेन विशुद्धया ॥

यस्य शक्तिर्वर्तते तु आशीर्वादप्रदायने ।

स प्रयत्नेन दद्यात् तत् धर्ममार्गानुसारतः ॥

यदि शक्तिविहीनोऽपि दातुं न शक्नुयाद् जनः ।

तदा तत्प्रणतिं देवे समर्प्य प्रणतो भवेत् ॥

तस्य क्षेमं च कल्याणं प्रार्थयेत् श्रीहरिं प्रति ।

एष धर्मः सनातनः शाश्वतो नियमो ध्रुवः ॥
